****************************SPOILERS*****************************Let me say first off,the female character,Rosa(lind) is a BITCH.When Rosalind was a sixteen year old,a young neighbor namedSlade (about twenty three years old) fell in love with her. He wastall,skinny,but sweet. Rosa-for no other reason than being a beautifulbitch-insulted him in the worst way and before Slade walked away,he told Rosa that someday,he would return and she would "pay" andshe would not escape !Fast forward eight years. Rosa is now twenty four,still stunning,andworking for her brother's computer business. Brother's business hasfallen in hard times and a VERY RICH investor has taken over-guesswho ? Slade. Not only is he wealthy,he is well built and physicallypowerful-quite the change from the shy young man he once was.Part of the agreement is that Rosa MUST marry Slade and does shelike this ? No.but,Miss B can't help but be knocked out by the nowsexy Slade and she just about had an emotional meltdown when she saw him !These two marry but Slade makes it hard on Rosa. He loves kissing andgrabbing her,making her aroused and then pushing her away. He lovesirritating her to no end and she just has to take it or the business will godown the toilet ! Some great scenes these are and Rosa deserved it.This is a marriage for revenge story. Rosa was quite the mean bitch but,she did fall for Slade. Slade was a nice guy when young but,he let theemotional wounds fester. Some really nice anger scenes and word play here.Rosa and Slade battle it out with each other and do have some love making.Written in 1979,does have slightly descriptive love scenes but not,racy.This one was a treat. Anger,lust,revenge,antagonism. Grabs the reader fromthe first few pages.
