Has done the job required, had to measure to make sure I got the right size before ordering. It does not come with a pump, you need to blow it up with your mouth or use a hand / foot pump. Cost is acceptable for what it is.

Unfortunately, i brought the wrong size so wasnt able to use it.

Installed this into the chimney mouth of my lounge fireplace at the start of the winter. It's basically cut dead the down flow of cold air into the room and made the whole room feel so much cosier. The balloon is simple to inflate and several months on since installation I've not had to top it up once. You will need to get on your hands and knees to install it into your chimney, and this will probably require you to adjust the amount of air in the balloon a few times to get a perfect fit, but once done, it does exactly what it says on the tin.

Poor. It went down within a week. Use loft insulation instead

I bought this to fix a draught that was causing a big loss of heat in my living room. With an open fire it was just sucking out all the warmth from the room and causing a noisy draught when the living room doors were closed. I've lived with this draught problem for three years and wish I'd found this product sooner!With a 9" flue hole in the chimney to block, the Chimney Balloon has done a great job. Be prepared for some contortionism if you don't have a suitable pump and need to inflate it with your mouth.

My wife suffers from cold feet (physically, her confidence is pretty good). Her end of the sofa is at the end closest the chimney and when the fire isn't lit, she can feel a draft coming down the chimney in the winter.I wasn't expecting such a massive difference with this simple balloon but I'll be honest, it's transformed the temperature in the entire living room. We have quite a large living room (30ft long by 12ft wide) and would struggle to get it up to 19 degrees or soon a normal day in the winter (outside temperature maybe 7/8 degrees). With this fitted, the room heats up significantly faster, we're seeing temperatures of 20/21 (I've even had to turn the heating down a notch, so we'll be saving money there) and the best bit is my wife has stopped complaining. Well - about the draft on her feet anyway!Honestly, this is an absolute game changer.Highly recommended.
