Moon River: The Very Best Of Andy Williams

Very pleased with the product and the service.

I wouldn't mind taking off a couple of the sillier tracks on here like Butterfly and Music To Watch Girls By for a more serious/solid compilation. But Moon River: The Very Best of Andy Williams has plenty of strengths and highlights his excellent voice well. Great that it starts with Moon River, no waiting around. And it ends with It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year, his most acclaimed Christmas/holiday song. There are plenty of other highlights including Can't Get Used To Losing You, Born Free, A Time For Us, Can't Take My Eyes Off You and Battle Hymn Of The Republic. I would make a few adjustments to the track list, but that will always be the case with a best of. It's pretty hard to argue with what's here and it's a thoroughly enjoyable listen.

When we got a new Bose CD player we looked for some old favorite CDs. Andy Williams is one of the best. This CD has Moon River, Love Story theme, Dear Heart, Butterfly, Can't get used to Losing You, Born Free, A Time for Us, We've Only just Begun, Speak Softly Love, Can't Help Falling in Love, One Day of your Life, Days of Wine & Roses, The Village of St. Bernadette, Music to Watch Girls By, Can't Take My Eyes Off You, In the Arms of Love, Battle Hymn of the Republic and It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year. Sometimes when I look at CDs they don't have the complete song list so it's hard to know what to order. I included the complete list. I love all of Andy's songs. I recommend this CD.

The music brought me back to the seventies when he had a Tv show.

These are some of the songs that were a part of my life in their time. What's not to love? I downloaded them into my music library and they were automatically fed into my cell phone in alphabetical order by song title. I use the cell phone music (1800 songs and other music) when the long infomercials play on the car's preset radio stations and when I am on a trip away from my preferred radio stations.

I bought a copy for my Mom and one for Me. Growing up, my Mom had Andy's music on the old turntable, and it was a part of the soundtrack of my life. I re-discovered the pleasure of the music of Andy Williams about 10 years ago, and had bought a couple of his CD's. This collection caught my eye for it's inclusion of "Butterfly" (my favorite Andy song) and "Battle Hymn of the Republic". Many of the other songs I already had on other CD's, but this CD sounds so crisp and clear, that there must have been a re-mastering that wasn't evident on other Andy CD's I have.This collection is great for two groups of fans---those who, like me, have liked Andy's music for a long long time, as the sound quality it top notch, and it's also perfect for someone just discovering this "King of the MOR" artist. It hits all the big songs in his career.
