VELUX Original Telescopic Rod Pole to Operate GGL GGU Type Skylight Roof Windows and Blinds with Handle Bars

Brilliant, sturdy, original Velux pole. Opens and closes the window in the ceiling perfectly, really happy. There was a slight delay in delivery due entirely to the courier but the seller immediately chased and it arrived the next day.

Arrived before predicted delivery date. Works perfectly. Easy to adjust, light enough to cope with strong enough to do the job.

ok, so the price you pay for this, it is much cheaper than direct from Velux. However, even then, it is just an extendable aluminium stick with a plastic hook secured to the end. So you think it costs more than what it is really worth but after messing around beforehand with different combinations of metal poles and hooks, the DIY efforts never work as well as the official product. The plastic hook has a particular shape and grooves that do the job of opening and closing easily, without damaging the surrounding frame which is relatively soft pine that dents and chips easily if contact is made. So weighing up cost versus benefit, this is definately worth stumping up the cash for in terms of functionality and is more asthetically pleasing than any DIY effort would be.

This product wasn’t delivered the next day as an Amazon Prime customer thought this would happen so may be my fault not reading the delivery date properly. It came well packaged and was very easy to use , pole extends so I could reach all the Veralux windows in my property very pleased

Quite simply, the pole extends, is sturdy when extended and will open and close your velux windows. I bought this from the Itzala blinds, through Amazon Marketplace and although it came all the way from Hungary, it arrived before the estimated date.The packaging was damaged as was the end of the pole, making it impossible to use, so I emailed the supplier immediately. I received a prompt reply from Kitti at Itzala blinds, asking me to send some pictures by email of both the packaging and the pole. Having done this, I received another prompt reply, apologising for the problem and confirming a second pole had been ordered and dispatched and would be with me within 10 days. Again, it arrived early and is being put to good use. Velux make quality products that work, that's why you bought your window(s) and are now looking to buy the pole to open it/them. You can buy with confidence from this seller, some people would have given a one star review but from time to time things go wrong in retailing. You have to take into account what and how the retailer puts it right.

Opens and closes velux windows that are otherwise out of reach. We always knew we'd need something like this when our small extension with a high roof was built. Took us a while to order but it has proved really useful in hot weather with sunlight additionally heating the extension.

Got this along with the blind attachment to open and close a manual blind which should have been electric. (Contractors, don't you just love 'em). However once I got the knack of using it, it does the job.
