HPLAmerican Revolution/Revolutionary/Independance War Chess Men Set- NO Board

I am pleased with the quality of the pieces I was a little worried because of some of the reviews but I am very satisfied. The pieces are level and it even has soft pads on the bottom of all the pieces, and love the rustic paint job.

I purchased this set to replace a set from another company. The previous set I had was very fragile. When the pieces would tip over, pieces would break off. Playing with headless kings and armless pawns wasn't very attractive. These pieces seem much more sturdy and I believe will last much longer. This is as good quality set of pieces with weighted bottoms and more durable pieces.

Very nice detail, fun alternative to the usual white and black pieces. Gave as a gift and the recipient loved them!

Chess pieces were nicely crafted.

Had high expectations for these Revolutionary War chess pieces & greatly disappointed. On the left is one of pieces from a Richard the Lion-heart vs. Saladin set & on the right is the George Washington from this set. Not even close! Overpriced for such small pieces & not very well made. We're returning these chess pieces for a refund tomorrow.

I ordered this set for my grandson who is attending a military academy in Virginia thinking that it would combine his two interests - chess and American Colonial history. I was surprised that the pieces are so small, but otherwise, it is a fun set. It does not come with a board so I will purchase that separately.

These are the coolist chess pieces I have ever had. They have good detail and must have weights in them because the stand up just fine. Now if I could only improve my chess game.

I have now have 4 of the chessmen sets and this is my favorite one, great detail and feel.
