Perfect for what I need it for
I needed a tablet for the notes I use when showing people round sites. It needed to be easily portable, highly water resistant and have a bright screen. It achieves these really well. It’s enclosed in a shock-resistant casing, which makes it easy to hold the tablet without worrying about dropping it. I wasn’t expecting that to be a feature, but I’m very happy with it. Battery life seems good. It can work as a tablet without a phone SIM installed. Some reviews say it’s heavy to carry but I haven’t noticed that. I don’t think the device would be enjoyable as a general-purpose tablet. It’s slow to load and run apps, and it’s slow to scroll around the screen. For me, though, it’s exactly what I needed and I’m very pleased with it. I noticed it came with some children’s apps pre-installed, and I can imagine it being good fun to play with. It feels robust enough for that. It's also surprisingly good for watching TV and youtube with headphones – the built-in speakers are functional but basic.

Great for athletics track & field officials use - very waterproof and lightweight
My athletics organisation have ordered several of these devices for our field officials to enter results during track and field competitions. They cope with the huge variety of weather conditions that our officials have to endure and are lightweight enough not to be a burden during a long competition. The screen is responsive even during rain (though you may need to be a little firmer with your finger touches during very heavy showers) and when the weather improves and the sun comes out, the screen is bright enough to be read with ease. The battery lasts long enough for results to be input during an all day event (generally around 6+ hours) and is simply recharged afterwards using a USB-C cable (supplied). We have the screen set to full brightness to make it easy to view in bright conditions, so the battery would probably last even longer if we turned this down to 50%.There are lanyard fittings built into the case, but one is not supplied - however, we found that it was easily held with one hand (see attached pic) and that a lanyard wasn't necessary. You can connect with wifi and there are dual SIM slots for when you are out of wifi range, and as it has Bluetooth connectivity you can also hot spot it to any phone. The numerous options mean you're unlikely to have problems getting online unless you're somewhere in the wilds or the middle of the ocean, but we've had no problems so far with the various athletics tracks we've used for competition.I can't comment on how well it works as a phone or a camera as we just don't need those options, but the specs seem reasonable. We also don't use it to stream video or online content, so again I'm afraid I can't comment on how well it would perform. For us, the tablet is used solely as a means of efficiently inputting results (using Roster software) in often wet and windy weather, and getting them online for our athletes to view their performances, and in that respect it performs very well.

Good solid product, great VFM
I bought this rugged tablet to use as a tablet attached to my motorcycle and in particular to use an Android App called Drive Mode Dashboard. Other users of this App have purchased this tablet and it was recommended. I found the tablet to be as described, rugged and solid and easy to use. It appears to be of good manufacturing quality and I am pleased with the purchase and overall great value for money

Rugged tablet
No lightweight but it's weight gives confidence in its rugged construction. Early days but so far couldn't be more pleased.

Fantastic kit for the money
I needed a tablet solution to run my favourite motorbike navigation apps (primarily Calimoto) when my active tab 2 became outdated. Scoured the web for ideas and came across this on here. I have to say that this is a fantastic bit of kit for the money. Added bonus is ability to add an external micro SD card as well so no problems downloading offline maps. I mounted using quadlock items and a RAM tablet holder.Very pleased with this item.

Does what it says
I really like this product. It is for a sailing holiday and also walking and mountain biking. So being able to read information in poor conditions without worrying about damp and dust is a real plus. The camera isn't great but everything else seems fine, the build quality is good and it does feel solid, heavier than a normal tablet. If this is typical of Oukitel's products, I shall be looking at the rest of their range.

Good tablet
First tablet I've owned but really impressed. Not light but that's the idea as it is really rugged.Purchased primarily to use as a sat nav as it has GPS and was really good value.Thinking of buying an Oukitel phone now.

Cheap Rubbish
At first I was quite impressed nice rugged feel and looks goodI added an SD card to increase the storage and all seemed ok about three months later the SD card failed well that is what I thought, so I purchased a new genuine Sandisk 256g card put it in and two days later same issue another bricked SD card, could it be another faulty card? so I put one of my older cards in again loaded apps and two days later another bricked SD card. What are the chances of three cards all failing in the same tablet in a short space of time?I might add before replacing the SD cards a full factory rest was done each timeI know have an expensive paperweight
