The Truffle Therapy Midnight Dew Mask arrived looking rather elegant as it was wrapped in tissue paper and included free samples of facial oil, serum, and a shimmering oil. The tub contains a surprisingly large amount of the mask at 3.4 fluid ounces, and even when applied in a thick layer as instructed on the box, it doesn't take very much product for nice coverage, so there's plenty for a lot of applications.The mask has a barely-there natural odor that smells somewhat like natural clay, and I like that there's no added fragrance. It's incredibly smooth, soft, and somewhat translucent when applied, so I find it difficult to see where I've already put it on my skin. Unlike any other mask I've ever used, truffle therapy dries without caking or pulling my skin tight. I can only tell it's dry when I touch it. When rinsed off, my face and neck feel deliciously smooth. I have really dry sensitive skin and truffle therapy leaves it feeling nourished, though I can't say it feels especially moisturized. That's disappointing, and I do have to put a moisturizer on following the treatment, but my skin is extremely dry and likely not the norm for most people.This is a lovely mask that I prefer to use once a week in the evening. It does help give my dull skin a slight glow right after use, but the radiance fades quickly. However, the silky texture remains and my skin feels exquisitely clean. I recommend truffle therapy to anyone looking for a luxury mask product; it's certainly worthy of being used in spas and as a special treatment to offer clients. It's also gift-able and would be appreciated by anyone who enjoys skincare products. Additionally, there is a little brush applicator included for applying the mask. This brush is perfect for getting a thin but even layer of the mask on your face. I applied this in the evening after cleaning my face with Micellar Water. The mask smelled slightly of clay (no surprise there) and wasn't unpleasant, especially as it doesn't linger after removal of the mask. I left it on for 15 minutes while watching TV and it didn't flake, crack, drip, or come off in any way during that period. I washed it off using warm water and a washcloth after the 15 minutes was up. Afterwards my pores felt tightened and my skin firmer than before using. This really isn't a hydrating mask so you need to apply serum or cream afterwards. It is probably a little too drying for my skin in the Winter but it would be perfect for someone with oily skin any time of year. It's a little expensive but there is quite a bit of product in the jar and with the brush, you can apply it thinly and still benefit from it.

Usually for us "over 50 crowd" clay masks are not the best idea. However, this SKIN&CO Truffle Therapy Midnight Dew Mask is different. It does not tighten up and dry out the skin. It does dry down, but it feels good as it does so. After I washed it off, my skin felt cleansed of impurities and refreshed. I love the brush that comes with the mask. I was able to get an even layer of the product on my face without dipping my fingers into it. The brush was easy to clean. What surprised me the most was how good my skin looked the next morning. My makeup went on smoothly and evenly, and the dry patches that I usually battle were gone. I love this mask, and it is definitely going into my weekly skincare rotation.

The mask arrived in a box with samples of other Skin&Co products. This mask has clay in it, but it applies very smoothly almost like a jelly mask so I think the amount of clay must be on the low side. This mask is fragrance free and It has a odd smell to it. Not a bad smell, but not a good smell either, just earthy. The mask dried as expected and rinsed off easily. My skin was smooth afterwards and the next day. Unfortunately, 24 hours later, I started to have an allergic reaction to the mask and my skin was itchy and red. I often have bouts of sensitive skin, so it could just be one of those bouts, but the itchiness was really unusual. I reviewed the ingredient list and I am not allergic to any of the ingredients that I know of. I also didn't use or eat anything new except this mask. I will wait a couple of weeks and try it again in one patch to see if I have another reaction.

This is one of my favorite facial mask I have used recently. The mask is thick and pasty. It comes with a application brush which is nice and not too many other products have it. Seller also included 2 small tubes of samples which is nice.I did not use the brush to apply the mask. I just used my fingers to spread out the a moderate thickness of paste as directed. ThE mask does not have a heavy scent which i like. I waited about 15 min before I rinsed off the mask during shower. The end result is amazing clean and smooth. The face does not feel dry at all and very refreshing. I finish with a thin coat of face moisturizer. 5-star for SKIN&CO Truffle facial mask.
