This was purchased for a specific task where a new sharp and accurate router bit was required. I continue to be impressed by Trend router bits, they are well designed and incorporate high quality materials. They are clearly designed by people who understand what a router bit is. They are also very reasonably priced and appear to last as long and are as good as my more expensive commercial quality router bits. This router bit has been used for a specific requirement in the construction of a workshop table saw bench and performed as expected providing an accurate and consistent finish across all applications. Great vfm, solid reliable performer across a range of materials.

Good to use for hinge jig

Most definitely the most used bit in my workshop, fantastic quality and great price. Very accurate with a template. Very Long lasting.

Fits my Ryobi palm router, did a great job cutting out hinge recesses on doors.

Works a treat. Nice solid bearings (x2) making light work of fitting hinges etc.

I had a complicated little area to rout (a bi-fold door fitting); I had to make a template (buying was uneconomic for a one-off job) and had to be done to a few steps; this little cutter made it easy; you can use to rout even quite deeply, i.e. beyond the depth of the cutter, as the initial cuts can guide the deeper passes; plenty of info on YouTube
