The Good:The easy install in a GMC product is Number One. I've installed a bunch of stereos and have done a lot of electrical work on many different systems. I've wrenched on a lot of different things in vehicles doing a lot of different stuff from replacing seats, fixing dents, paint cars, replacing a radiator, and installing a lot of different accessories. This Stereo is as easy as it comes to install. This thing looks factory and performs like a new car with extras you don't get like SD Card support. The Steering Wheel Controls work right out of the box.THE NUMBER ONE REASON TO BUY is the seller is willing to support you.I bought this and installed it and it had a few hiccups. The biggest one was it popped all the speakers intermittently and would restart and had some Maps issues. When this popping would happen it sounded like a gun shot or a huge rock hitting the car. Seriously, it would scare the hell out of everyone. Now, even though it was beyond the return date the seller was willing to replace this unit. I am sending it back so that they can maybe find out what was wrong with it. Perhaps, and most likely its just a lemon and something was soldered wrong or not soldered enough. Things can happen and nothing is perfect but this seller is a take ownership type of seller.I am going to follow this seller and if there is something else I want to buy that this person is selling I will buy from them first. So, my review is this; BUY FROM THIS SELLER WITH CONFIDENCE

Updated reviews after 3 months of use
<<<Updated Review from 2/5 stars to 4/5 stars>>>>Here is my unfavorable experience with this stereo in my 2008 Suburban ltz.I bought this unit because DVDs were getting stuck in stock player in my suburban. The bad:The SWTNVIN was supposed to be plug and play but be ware it isn't as easy as it sounds. BEWARE...zero instructions on how to install! Only a cheap manual to show how to use the android interface. Most of the functions are plug and play but you will need to buy their backup camera and 30+ft of coax cable and run it through your suburban, back door hatch, and then drill holes and mount the camera. The speaker for the turning lights and door charm is very cheap sounding and super loud, I recommend putting tape over it to quiet it down. Trying to connect to the flip down screen is a challenge in itself. You must buy their USB to hdmi adapter, then buy a second hdmi to aux converter, then splice into wire number 7 and 15 I believe (green and black wire and the white wire ). And after all this work the quality is terrible on the flip down with a frame rate of probability 15 fps or less. Thankfully my kids don't seem to care. Β <<<A software update was provided to me and it corrected these issues.>>>The system seems sluggish at times and a number of apps do not function correctly. The good:The screen is vibrant and looks good. Buttons are placed well and navigating through the menu isn't terrible. Tons of apps you can download if you have wifi. Hot spot your phone to the stereo and you can stream video through your favorite apps. Navigation is decent, I use WAZE or Google maps. Sound is pretty crisp but volume varies depending on apps or radio or DVD. Make sure you turn off bass enhancement as it adds a lot of white noise to the sound. Customer support was prompt to reply and helped where they could. Β <<<I am still mixed as to if it was worth it or not but at least now all the DVDs work so my kids are happy, honestly for the price this is unit is loaded but in the end it needs more refinement>>>

Awesome Headunit and Great Tech Support!
I really like this headunit. It is a Great deal for the price. I did a good bit of research before purchasing this unit. I have had high end units in the past and enjoyed them. However, when I looked around at the big name unit this time, I noticed they all had mixed reviews. Most of them were $1200-$1400 as well. This unit seemed to have pretty good reviews but I noticed that most people who were complaining bought the cheaper version with less ram/rom. I decided to give it a shot and bought the top unit at 4g+64gb. Even the highest unit was only $359. That was a steal compared to the higher units at over $1000 and mixed reviews. Also, this unit looked more like a factory navigation headunit, so that helps with anti-theft and fits the vehicle nicely. I also really wanted a radio with an actual volume knob. I hate the all touch screen radios without any knobs. One of the other deciding factors was this unit comes with everything you need to install in a GM vehicle that it is made for.If you bought the other units, you would also need to purchase: steering wheel control unit, dash kit, antenna adapter, etc. That alone is about another $130-$150.I bought this unit in May 2022 and installed it the day it came. Install only took about 1.5-2 hours taking my time. Everything is plug and play. I do have some experience installing headunits so may be more tricky for someone without experience. Also, it takes some time to run the navigation antenna. The turn signal box is a little loud and different sounding than factory. I actually got used to it and doesn't bother me any more. It is pretty easy to hear over a fairly loud radio too. Some folks mentioned putting tape over it to quiet it down some if it bothers you.Lastly I noticed the radio reception wasn't the best so I contacted customer support. Also, I wasn't able to see the logo I set each time I turned the truck on and off. They sent me a few updates and things to try. We were able to get the logo coming on and off each restart with an update. The radio reception didn't get any better. This was a few months after purchase btw. After a few rounds of troubleshooting, they decided to send me a new unit. I got it quickly and swapped it out. I noticed that the old unit the antenna wire was damaged on install from when I pushed everything back in. It is a VERY tight fit, but this is true for all of these types of headunits that require so much wiring and special boxes.Needless to say it my fault and they were good about taking care of me. They respond quickly and know their product well! One last thing I should mention. I like the fact that it has offline navigation. It works pretty well too. I don't use it very often, but when I have it has served me well. This is another option that most of the other units don't have. Most of them just use google maps from your cell phone. The first unit I had was setup for the offline navigation. The second unit was setup for google maps and I did not like using it. I contacted customer support and they helped me get it setup for offline navigation again. After about a years worth of use, I love this unit and would not easily trade it for any other. I wish they would make one for my wife's 2009 FX35...some one needs to come up with a better solution than what I have seen.
