Loved it so much I bought three more
These bowls are well made and stylish in appearance like everything else in the New Wave range. It is larger than I expected but that is fine as I like preparing large quantities of salad. It could also be used as a fruit bowl or an uncovered vegetable dish - New Wave items are so versatile :-) It is fairly heavy, but that is due to its quality.

Fine china
This is a fine china salad bowl and part of Villeroy & Boch’sNewWave range. It coordinates well with the other pieces and the only thing to bear in mind is that it is a large item, so may present some storage issues. I liked it sufficiently to buy more for use on the buffet table - fruit salad, pasta salad, leafy salad, couscous and so on. The china is light enough that stacking more than one on a shelf won’t add significant weight and they stack neatly.

Fantastic purchase
We use this bowl as a fruit bowl and it always gets lots of complements. It's perfect for keeping bananas separate to other fruits. It is a little to large for our dishwasher but washes easily in the sink between uses. Fairly hardy and a good addition to any kitchen.

A dish to catch the eye
Great dish bought as replacement for broken one!! Always gets comments and is very versatile at the table, hence buying a second one! Great delivery & packaging would have secured the Crown Jewels! But was necessary & did the job!!

Arrived damaged twice !!
The original ordered item and replacement both arrived damaged China requires more robust packaging than just on box rattling around in a bigger box Both the Manufacturer and Amazon need to review their packaging of this item.
