Great Biscuit HOWEVER !! no puppy or kittens in the pack !!!
bought this packet of McVities purely on the back of the new advert currently broadcasting on the TV. took the packet home and carefully opened them... to my great dissapointment there were no live animals free in the packet, all there is is Original Digestives in the pack !! So i ate them.... all of them... so to sum up this, great food product but poor on the freebie animals as advertised on the TV...

These biscuits are such a classic- they are my favourite biscuits by far and I love that they can be used in so many recipes.

Oh dear!
A recipe change last year means biscuits dry and tasting of sawdust. I am not sure what market research went into the new product but it does not compare to the old one.

Taste different..
I recently thought the taste of Mcvities digestive biscuit was my imagination.. Didn’t buy for a few weeks and this week totally forgot by adding in my basket.. Wasn’t until I opened the packet and realised , yuk.. There is definitely a change in the taste.. So won’t be buying them anymore.. May be suitable for younger generation who do not know any different.. But it’s certainly not the McVities taste I knew.

How has the recipe changed? The taste is awful compared to previous biscuit.
I have bought these biscuits for many years and enjoyed two with my first cup of tea. If the recipe does not revert to the original, I will not be purchasing any more. At present they are no longer the best on the market.

The 12 pack box had been previously opened and re-sealed. When I received it the box only contained 7 packs instead of 12.
