Glory Hole Paperback – September 19, 2017

Stephen Beachy is an American master, and all of his novels have been marvels, but none is more marvelous than "Glory Hole." It is a fully realized work, a masterpiece, a blend of dreaminess, sketchiness, philosophy, poetry and brilliantly funny social comedy that often turns on a single word or expression. Page after page had me laughing out loud. The number of writers who've ever lived who have commanded the language with this kind of confident precision is minuscule. The number of writers who've ever lived who could match Stephen Beachy in intellect, understanding and a delicate but unsparing lucidity is probably even smaller. He is unique, in other words, as a great writer must be.
