it will only give you a green tone if you put it on blond hair, the ash tone means it has no warm tones that can make your hair look brassy, the ash tone is a slight blue/grey cool tone which will look like a natural light brown. i hope this helps i am a hairdresser

No, just the peroxide is enough to use with this. If you want a really light color you should use the bleach powder and discolor the hair first and later use the dye with the peroxide, but don't use bleach powder together with this.
