I had to start taking a multitude of vitamins every day. After 30+ years of taking handfuls of vitamins I just got fed up feeling like I rattled when I walked so I stopped taking them and thought I’d be fine. Not so. I felt fine at first, but after a couple of months I started feeling tired, weak and nauseous. It progressed to hardly being able to function, getting extremely dizzy and having a constant mind fog. I never correlated the symptoms to my stopping vitamins. After about 6 months I had lost over 60 pounds and knew something was wrong. I went to my doctor and had blood tests done which showed I had severe vitamin deficiencies, especially folic acid, iron, vitamin D, and most of my B vitamins. I was given a transfusion then a stern lecture on taking my vitamins regularly. I was given liquid vitamins for most of them, but my doctor recommended this Blood Builder supplement for the anemia. I started feeling better almost immediately and now take these religiously. I take them at night before I go to bed because the iron can upset my stomach. They do have a very strong taste even when swallowed quickly with a lot of water. I like how I am getting exactly what I need with one supplement instead of taking 3-4 individual ones.
