The digitizer screen itself is good quality. It has a glossy finish that makes the head unit look 10x better in my opinion. They package the screen very nicely and is well protected. Arrived in less than 24hrs! Messed up the original Digitizer Sunday :( I places the order same day and had it by Monday!!I have a 2018 jeep grand Cherokee that I delt with the phantoms touch for over a year. Very annoying and didn’t want to spend thousands of dollars to replace with another OEM head unit. Then I found out you can replace the digitizer!! I tried to re use the original digitizer but the orange pin disconnected. Honestly if I where do do this again I wouldn’t even bother trying to salvage the OEM digitizer. This is only 49 bucks and saves you the head ache of removing the glue from the OEM digitizer. The process to actually remove and replace the OEM digitizer is very tedious. Watch as many YouTube videos as you can to get familiar with all the moving parts. Make sure you remove all the glue from the screen. Pay attention to where the digitizer actually lines up to the screen for proper fitment. Those that say they have dead spots probably didn’t hook up the digitizer correctly because mines works like OEMTAKE YOUR TIME!!! It’s a messy job but it’s doable if you are well prepared.

This screen is very fragile and when placed correctly, can repair your display very inexpensively.You must make sure that your info screen behind it didn't develop tiny hairline cracks during removal of this outer screen. I suggest putting it together with just a few screws and plugging it into your vehicle before a full install. My LCD screen had spider cracks that I couldn't see until I plugged it in to the vehicle. I was too rough removing the initial screen I guess, & cracked the LCD screen prying up this screen. Go very slow & be patient, they crack easily. I eventually bought the entire unit (both screens)for $165 with a 3 yr guarantee on EBay. All installed, brand new screens & works like new for hundreds less then the Stealer charges.

If you watch any of the YouTube videos on replacing the digitizer only, for Dodge, Chrysler, or Jeep vehicles, they are all helpful. The one hint I would add is BEFORE using the Goo Gone or other cleaners/chemicals, just try to rub off the glue (wearing latex gloves) like rubber cement and ball it up. I removed 90% that way in about 10 minutes, and then used a couple of plastic scrapers and rinses with Goo Gone as they direct to get it clear. Did not use mayonaise, although I can’t say it wouldn’t work! 🤪 Jeep wanted $1200 for a new unit, fixed it with this $45 part and some time/effort. It’s been in use for a few weeks now and no known issues to date. Good luck!

The media could not be loaded.  Replaced my digitizer with this product. Made sure everything was perfectly clean before placing this on the lcd… the top and bottom respond to touch but the middle of the screen is a dead zone, and doesn’t respond, resulting in a lot of functions not being able to be used. Hoping they can send a replacement and this was just a bad screen.Edit- the seller got back to me fast and took care of the problem. Have another digitizer already. Excellent customer serviceEdit 2- sadly the second digitizer is doing the same thing. Dead spot in digitizer not letting me use some functions. I’m not sure what’s going on because the entire lcd under is crystal clear. Mailing the first one back today, and just gonna have to deal with it until I can buy the lcd and digitizer combo, as I don’t want to deal with taking the dash apart and separating the screen for a third time.Seller is awesome and refunded me and let me keep the digitizer.

Worked as advertised. Be aware, installation is time consuming, but that isn't this product's fault. The only thing I wish were better is the sensitivity, but again this may be the fault of the original design.
