AMESLeaf Grabber Rake with Long Handle & Cushioned Grip for Leaves, Lawn Clippings, Twigs, Yard Waste

Got this towards the end of fall so only got a few chances to use it. I used to use handheld leaf scoops, which work well, but can give you a sore back from all the bending. This product was great. It picks up more than scoops, and I like that the bundle of leaves (potentially harboring bugs/ticks) is farther from my face and arms than when using scoops. Seems well made. Perhaps the people saying it broke were using it too roughly. I don't throw it on the ground, nor use it to pack the leaves down into the leaf bag. I open them slightly when they're "standing by", and they stand up nicely by themselves, unlike stooping to pick up leaf scoops. I use a 5 gallon plastic bucket to pack the leaves down in the bag, and it doubles as a place to put a few extra paper leaf bags too. Can't say how long they'll last yet, but I feel they were a good purchase.

The media could not be loaded. I have seen a number of people use this for yard cleanup as well as some professionals. It was easy to assemble, required no tools and only took about 2 minutes. The handles are made from painted metal and has some textured grip material where you put your hands. The base scoops are made from a slightly pliable plastic. The material feels strong and size it will flex a little, it should work great for picking up leaves, sticks and other yard materials without breaking. My original concern was that the plastic would be hard and have a tendency to break off small pieces of plastic when it grabbed a tick or a rock the wrong way. I don't think this will happen. It should give a little and I would expect it to last for years unless you mistreat it by running it over with the lawn mower. So far, I am very pleased with it. JohnnyF

Simple in design but quality and effectiveness is great. Makes cleaning up the yard easy. Highly recommended!

I like it, but I wish the plastic parts were stronger. It's fine if you're picking up very light stuff, but if it's a little wet or there's heavier stuff mixed in, the claws tend to bend outwards. I like the way it works though; it's like having very large hands.

I decided to buy this item as bending over to pick up leaves in your 60's isn't much fun. The item arrived and took less than a minute to assemble. After raking leaves into many piles, I then tried this product and to my pleasure it worked fantastic! It was easy to use, light weight and picked up way more at a time than I expected. It even cleans right to the grass surface never having to bend over. Wish I had purchased many years ago! Amazing! Highly recommend!

I use this rake for straw and pine flake bedding in the chicken coop. It definitely helps with my back issues seeing I don't have to bend so often. The grabbers could be a bit more durable for larger scoops but this definitely gets the job done!

Product broke at the end of the handle inside the rake. Only a 30 day warranty they informed me so no refund or replacement.Would not purchase as they do not back their product.

Purchased for my Husband - saw these being used on YouTube Flawless Cleaning channel thought wow so easy and no constant bending.Hubby loved them
