Elegant and challenging model with high-quality craftsmanship
This is an excellent model for anyone who enjoys detailed builds and a real challenge. It is well-designed and rewarding, but it requires patience and careful handling. The wooden pieces are high quality and do not break easily, but they are not meant for rough hands. If handled carelessly, parts can be damaged. This is not a toy, but a precision puzzle intended for adults or older kids who enjoy building and working with intricate details. The level of challenge is real and satisfying. I gave this kit to my daughter some time ago, and it is almost complete. The finished model looks elegant and visually impressive. I also inspected the internal mechanism, and it moves smoothly, which reflects good engineering and design. Overall, this kit matches its description perfectly. It is ideal for adults or older children with a knack for building, patience, and attention to detail. If you enjoy mechanical models and artistic puzzles, this is a very nice piece to build and display.

A wonderful experience
I personally love puzzles. I always have and I especially love music boxes. Putting them together seemed like a machine in heaven. Everything about this puzzle is beautiful. The design is elegant. The quality is excellent and it is well put together once everything is all altogether. Well, this would be a wonderful gift for any puzzle/music box lover. I’m also making it for my kid. Even painting it so that way it makes it a little bit more personal. All around it is a great gift whether it be for yourself, someone you know who loves to put things together, or even a gift for someone else like what I’m doing. Obviously, even though this is made of wood, you still should be careful and take different precautions when we’re moving pieces from the boards, but you do deal with small pieces which might be difficult for people with no steady hands overall I love the experience and their other products as I have built a few others with just as much enjoyment.

Unique Design, Great Quality, and similar to Adult Legos
Ordered this gift for my dad, who loves model kits and tinkering with his hands. It ended up being the perfect spark to reignite his old passion. It’s definitely a bit technical and not something you breeze through in an hour, but that’s exactly what made it so satisfying for him. The instructions were detailed, and while a few steps took a bit of puzzling out, he found the process really engaging. The quality was sublime. Everything felt well-cut and sturdy, with a precision that made it feel like a premium kit. He did mention that a couple of parts needed a steady hand and some extra care during assembly, but overall, the fit was smooth and satisfying. It’s made from wood, which gives it a really warm and natural look once it’s finished. As for the final model, the cello has a cool design and a surprising amount of detail that makes it feel more like a little sculpture than just a model. It now sits on a shelf in the living room and is a conversation starter for guests. It’s one of those pieces that feels both classic and creative, and it really stands out in the best way. I’d say this is best for someone who enjoys a challenge and likes working with their hands, definitely not a rush job or something for really young kids. This is best for hobbyists or anyone looking for a hands-on gift.

Great project and a fulfilling outcome
We absolutely loved putting it together. It is complex and needs some patience. But the instructions were very good and great guidance so it’s just about carefully reading it throguh. Fortunately they gave extra pieces for more delicate little bits so that was extremely useful

Need great eye sight and nimble fingers
Great puzzle. It is both beautiful and frustrating. Got this as a gift for my 69 y/o father who was recovering from back surgery and loves puzzles. He was excited by the prospect of putting it together. But, It is mot for those who do not have nimble fingers or great vision. The pieces are incredibly small and so are the instructions. He has already broken some of the pieces but they are laser cut so there may be no replacing them. He is currently working on making sure the celo bow moves. Per him it takes much longer than expected and is a very delicate puzzle. Great gift but very frustrating for those without nimble fingers

Super cool, and plays music too!
My wife has bought about 4 or 5 of these wood puzzles. She likes to do them when we go camping. This was her latest build. Took her a few days and it's really cool. The little music box and moving bow make it an amazing piece to add to her collection. Would highly recommend if you are a 3D puzzler!

Beautiful & Impressive!
I LOVE this! It was my first time ever putting together a model anything. I cannot for the life of me put bookshelves or furniture together so I was nervous being that it's rated 4/5 skill level but the instructions were very clear and easy to understand. This definitely took me a lot longer than the 4hrs it suggests but I made sure to take my time. Midway it has you do a test run with the gears and they didn't really rotate on their own so I was worried it wouldn't work in the end but was happy to at least finish putting it together as it's a beautiful decoration. However when it was done, it took a few tries to get it to work on its own (It does say the wax needs to work through the gears) but it works beautifully! I was so proud that I cried a bit as it played through. I love it very much, it looks beautiful on my bookshelf (Sorry I didn't have a picture of that) and I've gotten so many compliments on it. I already bought the Magic Piano to put together next!

Casals was a cellist not a violinist
this was my very first build with ROKR. I really enjoyed building this Cello...violin? minus a chin rest. Very durable and was challenging to put together. I used much of the wax to get pieces into their slots. Very well cut with precision. Appreciated the extra pieces in case of breakage. The only thing is Casals was a cellist...not a violinist. So the quote and message used is totally incorrect. For future production change violinist to cellist in the quote and message. I will buy more product from ROKR

Instructions not clear
Instructions are just not clear. If this is your first time with wooden puzzles - find another brand. Design is nice.

Great puzzle
I guess it’s not really a puzzle because it comes with instructions, it is exactly as advertised. If you can accurately follow instructions, this could be for you. Excellent build quality, it was a little expensive. It looks just like the picture and works.

Good Gift
Bought this for my father as a Christmas present. It's a great gift idea that keeps the recipient busy for a few hours or days, depending on the speed of assembly. It also plays music after mechanically turning the handle at the back.
