Folded this umbrella is about half the length, maybe a bit shorter, than a non-folding umbrella but that is AOK with me. This umbrella feels really really solid and will fit nicely in my carry on and day back back. Size is perfect for 2 people to get out of the rain.

Wanted a large umbrella for that will cover me and my 65 lb dog when we go on walks, but also consolidated down into a folded umbrella for easy storage. This was the largest umbrella I could find that folded and serves its purpose. It’s also lightweight

I just wish it was a wider strap in the middle.I recommend it. It's a well-designed and reliable umbrella that provides protection from the elements. It arrived just in time to a test in the rain.

This umbrella provides a lot of shade. I wanted to be able to sit at an outdoor concert and have shade even as the sun shifted. This works very well. The top cover is made in two panels, which I think helps it flex rather than just stretch. The center poles are hex-tubing, which helps provide rigidity and strength. The opening is spring powered, released by a button on the handle. When closed, it has two wrap-around straps, top and bottom. And then there's a slide-over cover that includes a longer strap handleThis is a big umbrella. It is not lightweight, but then it can't be and also be durable. I think for use to keep the sun off, rather than just rain, it's a good design, and a good compromise between size and portability.

Overall I quite like this umbrella...quality seems very good with a mix of metal, plastic and fiberglass. Hopefully the plastic parts will hold up as those seem to be weak points on other umbrellas we've owned. Opening is very easy with a push button and the spot to pull it closed is also good sized, comfortable to grip and fairly easy to close up. The handle is mostly a soft rubbery foam material and does have a small loop at the end, but not big enough for me to slip my hand through so I do wish it was a little bit longer. The case does have a should strap though, so that's convenient for carrying if you want to bother keeping it in the case.This probably too big to throw into a typical backpack, but worth the extra length if you want something larger than a standard umbrella.
