Q: How hard does the button press need to be? Would it be easy for a small dog under 10 lbs to use?

It is very easy to press the button, my chihuahua that weighs 4 1/2 lbs is able to push the button with no problem at all & she pushes it with 1 paw ... Since learning the treat button she is constantly pushing it.

Q: How clear is the recording quality compared to your generic button?

It is very clear. I’ve had other ones and they have not been so clear.

Q: How is the playback volume?

Loud enough. Volume wasn’t the issue for my dogs - the moving around as they used them was, and My other dog is 5 lbs and doesn’t weigh enuf to press it down.
