Msr Dromedary Bag Water Reservoir

I love this thing. 10L bag holds more than enough for longer stints away from a water source but small and portable enough when only partially filled. Don’t worry about the taste when you first buy it. I recommend filling it up, leaving it for a day then emptying it, repeat this process up to 5 or so times and the taste goes away.

It’s great , it’s almost so Great ,... but it does still taste of plastic after several dozen trips. I’m a little disappointed at that , but otherwise great bit of quality kit. Tough.

May have to buy extra cap, because the cap that comes with it doesn't fit a hydration bladder.

Terrible. Used it about 6 times with just plain tap water and it went mouldy outside and in. Whereas I've had a camelback for years and it's bombproof.

Bombproof, shape is perfect for carrying water on extended sea kayaking expeditions, however, the taste is absolutely horrendous, I mean horrendous!! Have tried everything to get rid of the bad taste and still the same. Afraid to say that I have had to chuck my 2 6 litre dromedarys in the bin. Shame really. I did replace with the platypus 6 litre which is really good, just wished the shape was similar to the dromedarys

Always wanted one of these and treated myself. Big mistake. Took it with my water supply on a weekend away in the wilds camping. YUCK. Water tasted digusting and left a foul taste in the mouth which lasted for days. Made me sick and light headed and there was no cleaning instructions to get rid of the foul rubbery taste. Have tried bleach and Bicarb but still rinsing out to try and make useable. Not impressed.

Great size for multi-day camping trips. Bag is strong and works well. No worries about breaking or leakage.

We had to rinse a bunch of times to reduce taste, added a touch of vinegar, and after a number of times it actually is pretty solid, we used it to carry water on a 3 day backpack trip. If I could have I would have gotten a carabiner on each grommet and probably put my own string through those and hooked it to my bag. When full the 6L size was a little snug but eventually fit into the top bag compartment of my backpack. I did have it leak once but I think that was because somehow the little valve got pulled up on something. I took note of this going forward and just made sure I knew how I was positioning the top of the bag. On the trip though no leaks and it was fine and worked well and can even handle boiling water in the winter and stuff. We carried water in this and in smart water bottles which are each a liter. We filled the smart bottles from this dromedary bag. They where just lighter being 1/6th the size to use and maneuver. Plus they acted like a decent measure of how much water was left in the bag as if we used 3 of those bottles we knew there was 3 liters left. Otherwise this was good and to clean we just washed with soap and stick a paper towel roll into it to keep it open and let it try, you can even clip the cap to the string around it to keep it all together while drying. Quite good.

Forte odeur même après quelques mois d utilisations. Une odeur de plastique que je pensais temporaire au debut mais je pensais que ca allait partir ... Que nenni 😂 Bref c'est quand même super solide et ca fait ce qu'on lui demande !

Ne sent pas aussi mauvais que certains le disent. Meilleur prix trouvé ici. À l'air solide. Pratique, 3 bouchons différents en 1 (gourde, vider ou verser, large pour le remplissage). Sangles utilisables sous tous les angles et solides.
