The Book of Common Prayer and Bible Combination (NRSV with Apocrypha): Black Bonded Leather

This book is not the Book of Common Prayer of the Church of England or any variation on it. It is the Book of Common Prayer (1979) of the Episcopal Church of the United States of America and is basically useless for public worship in the Church of England. The Bible is the New RSV translation.Both parts of the book are therefore written in American English and not in British English. Whether you like that is a matter of personal preference.As a book this is a beautiful volume and far better than anything the C of E has ever published or than the Privileged Presses have published in its name for a very long time.

Here it is at long last,a long awaited classic that everybody has been waiting for,the book of common prayer together with the holy bible in the new revised standard version available in black and in red colour(written in the english contemporary language).What is best of this book,is that it is "not" been written in the old english language as opposed to the book of common prayer which was written in the year 1662 which is the one that is currently being used in the church of England,where the english language used was the one of the elizabean times(not the grammer which is used nowadays)which can be very hard to understand,especially for the people of today,so buying"The Book Of Common Prayer&The Holy Bible (Nrsv)"would actually give you the peace and comfort of understanding what is actually being said in church today without no complication whatsoever,which in my opinion i think that this has been an excellent idea in using a language which can be used and understood with ease by everyone using todays spelling which is truly elegant,poetic and completely understandable so you can follow everything very easily,and the book has been printed in 11 point print for reading comfort(so there's no need to strain your eyesights).,(**PLEASE TAKE NOTE**:the same applies to"The Book Of Common Prayer&The Holy Bible(NRSV)Black")this is a book to own and to use for many decades to come,a book which has been designed and made for everyday use.

i have purchased this bible as gift to my children, i am very pleased with this version its not too big, nice leather bound and gold edges,very clear to read,with prayers and bible,i would recomend this bible as an item as a famille hairloom.
