Good set for beginners
This was my first time airbrushing a kit and I saw this being used on Youtube and it seemed like a good time to expand my horizons. I used Vallejo primer and Extreme Sheen Sapphire paint. The airbrush was able push out both the primer and low-quality paint just fine. I used home-made cleaner and thinner made of distilled water, non-ammonia cleaner, distilled water, and glycerol and it cleans up just fine. Just remember to use the cap and back flush the cleaner to clean the interior. As for the noise, it only generates noise/turns on when you use the actual airbrush and it is not that loud. I have disassembled the entire airbrush and found the process simple enough for a beginner. For what you are getting: hose, water trap, brush, and compressor, I would say this is a good start to any person wanting to start airbrushing. At some point, you would most likely want to upgrade to a tank compressor and better airbrush though. I do not even have a spray booth and just paint in a box outside for now.

Great little compressor
Excellent value, works a treat. Although I didn't need it, came with a perfectly usable airbrush. Quiet enough to keep under desk, air pressure didn't dip during use. Very pleased, am going to check out their other brushes and kit.

Its ok. Just not enough air pressure for what I need.
I bought this hoping to find something more quiet than my 29 gallon compressor to work later at night. Unfortunately it just didn't fit the bill. I worked ok with Tamiya acrylics. But not at all with Vallejo acrylics. The air pressure is unreliable and pulsates too much for my liking. And while it is a lot more quiet than my regular compressor it does make a lot of noise when it is not on the floor. The pads on the bottom of the compressor are just not big enough. They are really small and cone shaped. Personal opinion they do not provide enough surface area to help dissipate sound or vibration. Instead they seem to transfer it more when placed on a desk. And even though they say it does 15 psi it does not. Or at least mine didn't. When testing it, it did start at 25 psi. But did not start working till it dropped to 10 psi. and that is where it stayed. If you are doing airbrushing on cake or maybe nails great. This might just work for you. But definitely not for model paint. The airbrush included is a nice touch. But between the rough surface area of the paint cup, where paint tends to stick to more, and the lack of tweezers you will need to put it back together when you tear it down and put it back together I would say look else where for an airbrush. I was able to get paint through it, but it had to be super thin to work with such low air pressure. I'm not going to tell you to go buy brand a, b, or c. Their other airbrushes may be better. But the one in this set just doesn't work for me. I will say a certain brand I do use is much better and around they same price they charge for their higher end airbrushes. Now, that is not to say it is all bad. It just didn't work for me or my needs. It may very well work for you. It may do what you need it to do.
