I have a broken screen door lock and a toddler. Need I say more? Pretty expensive to replace the old metal screen door, find similar quality, and to match the handle is not an easy find! I had been looking for probably a year before decided I can't afford a whole new door on top of all my other 40yo house fixes. This was a simple solution. Super easy, even if you have minimal tool knowledge. Definitely need to drill holes prior, especially if it's a metal screen door like mine is. The wood didn't really need predrills. Just good pressure with a drill. Overall, this made me ecstatic. It fits perfectly. I can swap out the top glass on the door and put its screen easily for airing the house out. I have my natural light back. AND, most importantly: I don't have my escape artist 3yo running into the front yard and across the street to visit the neighbors goats. AKA... a tantruming toddler can't push through this. Both me and my husband have forgotten about my installing this, and pushed hard on this door to open it. (Its also a bit sticky because the angle is bad. Lol) It didn't open. Definitely recommend this. Its sturdy and can be used for a variety of things.

Feels solid and it was very straightforward to install with the included screws.

Can't use it, as it has missing parts. Would not purchase again.

Be mindful with the color of this "silver" lock. For comparison I bought the lock from this seller and a handle from another seller, both advertised to be same or very similar in color. But the lock appears more darker than their advertised photos.
