I am 306 lbs. and have a 48" waist. This chair is comfortable and sturdy enough for my size. I'm a large person - 5'9" 260 lbs, with wide hips, so I wanted a wide sturdy chair. This is definitely wide - ample space left on either side of my body. It does weigh a bit more than your typical chair, so it is not one you'd want to have to move around a lot. Everything about it is well made. It came out of the box ready to use, except if you wish to use the cupholder and the little pillow, you would add those on & that is really simple to do. I love having the sun shield and that it clips securely behind the back when not in use. And there is some bend to the shield so you can adjust the tilt a bit if needed. I got the rust colored one and it's really nice looking.

The chairs are comfortable and work as promised. Unfortunately, after about 6 months of use the black plastic trays started to fade in the Florida sun.The biggest disappointment came when the water would drain from the chair after a rain event, the "orange terracotta color" would drain onto our brick pavers, leaving rust stains all over the decking of our pool.We contacted the manufacturer who told us that it was normal bleeding of the finish and that a little bit of oxy clean would remove it. We were told that it would continue to bleed this color and it was normal. We tried their cleaning suggestion but it didn't work and the chairs continue to leave as mess after any rain.We're disappointed in the chairs and the lack of customer service. We are now forced to throw them away and look elsewhere.

Chair came fully assembled and was packaged well with styrofoam and plastic wrapping to minimize damage during shipping. Tray came in individual box inside chair box. Instructions for set up and use for both chair and tray are clear and easy to understand. Chair does not provide lumbar support. Tray comes with two cup holders, a smartphone holder and tablet holder. Tablet holder is too small for Surface tablet. Head cushion on chair does slide up and down to adjust for user height. Zero gravity reclining levers are easy to use and lock in. Separate tools are provided to tighten these if needed. Chair is on the heavy side because of steel frame. Despite powder coating, I’m concerned that steel frame may weather and rust.

I had previously struggled for a few weeks with the same manufacturer's gravity free rocker model, which was cumbersome to open up and fold (I put it away each day after use) and, worse yet, its locking system didn't work and the chair would not maintain a reclined position. (After I contacted Bliss about this they sent me a tool to adjust the locking system but it didn't help.) The new chair cost me (gulp) more than double the previous one but it does what it's supposed to do. It sets up and folds very easily. At about 30 pounds, it's a little heavy to move around, but this 89-y-o guy can handle it. It's quite comfortable in any position -- I like it fully reclined and it holds its position. The sun shade is useful but for extra protection from the sun I drape a towel over it and clip it to the sides on windy days. The little side table fits easily into place. The chair is well made, well designed, and quite attractive. I notice that for some reason the price depends on the color of the material. Fortunately for me, the sand color that I like best is also at the lowest price.

What a nice way to wind down from a long day! I ordered two, and my husband and I like to kick back on our shaded deck and watch our two Aussies run in the yard. The only drawback? No lumbar support. When I am reclined, my lower back is arched and uncomfortable. I simply roll a towel and tuck it behind my back. Just wanted to mention this to those folks who suffer from back or hip problems.

My first Bliss chair i bought at a resale shop and I love it still!!!! So when I wanted a second sub zero chair I choose Bliss!!! Has comfort, easy to clean, durable and beautiful to look at. It is big enough for most people to sit in. The table for your drink is a bit wonki but maybe I dont have it on rite?? Eitherway it holds my drink and phone. Ive not had to use customer service so far so they get a 5 star till they prove different. They were out of a lot of the colors I liked so I got the Gold and I think it is purdy..... I recomend this product it is hippy chick beach rated five stars!!!!

I have waited to thoroughly test this recliner/lounger before submitting a review, and it has met my every expectation. So many of the other products offered have been reported as flimsy. Not this one! It is a solidly constructed frame of tubular steel. It adjusts to an infinite number of positions, all positions can be locked with the handy thumb toggles. Very comfortable unit. Highly recommended!

Love the extra width of this chair. Feels comfortable and secure. My only issue is that the levers to lock it into position don't fully lock. At least, I've not been able to get them to do so. If the chair is positioned anywhere between upright or fully reclined, it (very) slowly releases and slides back down. Despite this, it's still the most comfortable outdoor chair I've ever used.

Was looking for a wider deck chair and this one looks good and is comfortable
