This humidifier has everything I was looking for:- made by a reputable brand- adjustable mist setting (3 levels + auto)- night light- timer (up to 12 hours)- diffuser (by adding oil in water, not just a tray)Of the above features, the brand and ability to take essential oil in the tank are probably the most difficult to fulfill.Its auto setting adjusts the mist setting based on the measured relative humidity, which it shows its LED display, and is capped at 50%. Hopefully this means it won't set off my smoke alarm like another model I had to return.The night light is not as bright as other similar devices, as the tank on this one is opaque, so the light is only coming out on top.So far so good, but it's only been a couple nights. Will update if this breaks down sooner than expected.

We love this humidifier, mainly because it's so easy to add water to it - simply lift off the small ring-shaped "cap" on the top and pour the water in. No more picking up a tank, carrying it to the sink, filling it, flipping it over (hoping it doesn't leak), carrying it back, then trying to insert it "just right" into the humidifier. Fantastic!! It automatically shuts down when it runs out of water, displaying an "E1" code. The only slightly annoying aspect is that after filling you have to turn it off and back on again. No big deal.The humidifier does have other features that may matter to some but not to us. It displays the humidity level (nice, but we already have a digital thermometer that does that), has three level of humidification, has a timer, and includes a built-in nightlight. We would like the tank to be larger (it lasts about 12 -13 hours on the highest setting), but as easy as it is to refill, this is no big deal.We certain like and would recommend this humidifier.

Super disappointed. I have been a PureGuardian humidifier fan for years. This latest model is a big improvement on their old graduated-cylinder models. It's elegant, unobtrusive, QUIET, and the color-changing lighting is soft and subtle: WIN WIN WIN WIN. BUT: my first one developed a defective on-off switch after 3 days. I did an Amazon 30-day guarantee replacement, and the one Amazon sent me (1) was clearly not factory-fresh, as in it had been someone else's return hmmm wonder why..... and (2) had a defective sensor. So that's 2 for 2, people. I like the model enough that I'm tempted to order one directly from Pure Guardian and see if I can get one that's (1) actually new, and (2) actually works longer than 2 days. URGH.

Nive little humidifier. Lasts all night and the colored lights make a great night light. Definitely makes me feel better being able to keep the humidity up in the nursery, especially in these cooler months

great for smaller bedrooms or offices. Only because of the water size container is smaller than preferred. The size is nice, so you can carry the container filled with water easily back and forth. misting levels are nice, but you'll have to refill quicker. I'm a huge fan of the humidifier reader. Tested this - Its the same as my personalized CVS reader. Timer is perfect for overnight.All other features are nice to have but not required from my perspective. its a Great humidifier! But looking for simpler humidifier without the extra features, I'd go with something else.

This is a great humidifier for smaller spaces like a bedroom or an office. It works well, is reasonably quiet, and has a nice multi-colored light feature that adds a little ambience to whatever space you put it in. I wouldn't use this in a larger area like a living room, just because the tank isn't very large, but otherwise, it's a great device and works well for my purposes.
