Really well created
I really like this pack of cedar planks and cedar spray. The pack comes with hooks as well that neatly and easily screw into the plank so you can hang them if you wish. The planks came out of the box smelling very fresh and strong and I liked that. And when, over time, the smell begins to fade (apparently you can sand too to bring out the scent again) I can just spray the planks with the natural cedar spray. Highly recommend.

Great Moth Control
Cedar BLOCKS are great for moth control. They have a pleasant odor. Easy to use: as only a wood block or with the accompanying metal hanger that can be screwed into the block.

Works
So far I have not had any moths eat my clothes. So it works. 4 stars because the scent doesn't seem to last long, and it doesn't smell like cedar. I put extra planks and spray just to be safe. The price of one of my shirts is more than the cost of this product, so it is well worth the money to protect thousands of dollars worth of clothes.

Horrible Smell
Bought these for closets as moth balls are toxic and traps take up too much space, and I love the smell of REAL cedar, which I am not sure these are. They came quick and the cedar planks are real cedar and are nice enough; came with nice metal hangers you have to screw into the cedar planks (easy enough). But the planks did not have the strongest or best cedar aroma for one and the spray they came with was the MOST nauseating smell ever! It was as bad or worse than moth ball smell (do they even sell those anymore? ick), it was the weirdest, strong, linggggerrrring smell! :-( I only sprayed a little on one of the planks, and I had to throw that plank and the spray out. I did keep and use the other planks, but they truly don't have the aromatic smell of cedar; that smell that takes you into a forest. I am super sensitive to smells, and even after I tossed this, I kept smelling it, which kind of game me a headache. I also feel this item is expensive for what you get, but I will check out local hardware stores and see if I can do better. Would not recommend this item because even the planks do not have much smell at all.

Good quality set of blocks
Good quality, very functional. Handy to have the hooks, or you can take them off.

Is there an on switch? Doesn't smell at all
Maybe my expectations were wrong. I wanted to freshen up an entry coat closet (only 30"Wx30"D - so not large). I put 5 of the 10 pieces scattered around in the closet, came back a few hours later and there was absolutely no difference in scent when I opened the door. In fact, you have to practically touch your nose to them to pick up any scent at all. My first clue was when I opened the package there was no "wonderful cedar aroma" emitting. Maybe these are meant just for moths, and maybe moths have better noses than I do, but for my purpose, these were a waste of money. They are definitely cedar though - perhaps I had unrealistic expectations from these small pieces of wood.

Great!
My son lives in Air Force dorm rooms and there are some pretty nasty bugs! He likes the smell and the fact that these work to eliminate the insect problem!
