We have used this on top of our car for a few times. Unfortunately, the locks on one side completely broke halfway through our long distance drive; our light items all fell out and scattered along the freeway. It was only our 4th using it! Durability isn't the greatest. We don't recommend this one; stick to the other brands.

Great cargo box for the price. Fits well on my 2017 MDX, though on the back it does touch the radio antenna. Just took in on a 12 hour road trip with no issues. Noise levels were low. Liked the duel side opening. Storage capacity is ample, was able to get a few carry on size suitcases in there. Would recommend 👌

Well we are first timers with this rooftop cargo carrier . We paired it with the Toyoung racks that are on Amazon . We have a jeep Grand Cherokee limited 2017. Make sure to open the box and loosen the device that lets the clamps drop down & loosen ( those are what attaches to the cross bars which you put on first ( they are not included )! Secondly measure your crossbar distance, do they align with the holes under the carrier where you will be tightening down the camps to secure the carrier ? . Make sure you looking at the booklet to see which way the " clamp should face on the crossbars . They don't face the same way for the front and back . With all of that said. This was NOT a 5 minute job . It was the first carrier installation for our car so we had a lot of adjusting to do . ***Also do not unlock both sides of the carrier at the same time. *** It's difficult to get it realigned to secure it closed . You will need a step ladder for this job ! I hope it is aerodynamic. It seems very roomy , as well it should be for $750. We haven't used it yet . Assembly takes some patience and adjusting if you aren't experienced....but you' ll get it ,! Hopefully we' ll get alot of use from this ...and it will make our trip more enjoyable not having the car overloaded . We will be using it in November . It does lock and they provided 4 keys. The racks I mentioned above also lock as well .

This item is great one for a family. It's not too big but at the same time I can still fit tons of stuff in it. It can open and close from both sides. It's a big convenience. 4 keys are included in the order already. The straps are useful to keep my items organized and secure. Instructions are straightforward and attaches to roof racks pretty easily - no tools required. After closing make sure all the latches are engaged before hitting the road. I am glad I got this one - I definitely recommend this box.
