Update: 04/27/23 The company who I bought these from replaced not only this step stool, but also let me choose a second one. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase overall. The step stool IS the sturdiest I've ever found. The metal frame is what makes this possible, in my opinion. If you have any doubts about purchasing this, rest assured that if anything were yo ever happen, it's fixed immediately. You hear companies promise customer satisfaction, they actually do it!I'm short, and my new bed sits high. I purchased this stool to have a little extra help getting onto the bed. I had a very short criteria for the step stool I wanted. It had to be very sturdy. No wood! I didn't want anything that could wear with time. I certainly found that in this stool. It's solid metal with a faux wood topper. The second and last thing I wanted, was that it was aesthetically pleasing, as much as a metal step stool in your bedroom can be. This was the best option after my first requirement was met. I was thrilled once I got it and started to use it. It was perfect. I could get on the bed easily with no back pain. I have a back injury that is the cause of needing the stool. However, my joy disappeared when the side of the top started to peel off. I didn't want to send it back because this was something I needed. I have yet to fix it, but I'll try to super glue or hot glue it. We have no idea how this happened. It doesn't get wet and it's not overused. I really wish that this hadn't happened because I want to love everything in my home.

I could not be happier. This is for my invalid wife to get in and out of a high bed. and it's perfect for the purpose. As for sturdiness, it looks like it could support a performing elephant in the circus. Rubber feet are adjustable for height and non-slip, particularly on carpet. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars! Assembly took 5 minutes and they even include spare screws and screw anchors, a hex wrench and even a hex drill bit if you prefer to use your electric drill for assembly, though with only 9 screws a drill would have been overkill IMO.

First of all, let me start off by saying that the sturdiness of this stool is top-notch. It was packed in a professional well design. It was delivered in a timely fashion. The directions were laid out in easy to follow a design that allowed me to assemble it in as little as 10 minutes. I can absolutely guarantee that this vendor will sell me many more products as needed.

If I knew, when I ordered this, what I know now, I would have ordered a higher stool, or perhaps a two-step stool. I am short, my bed is tall. In all fairness, this does make it easier for me to get into bed.As an added bonus, my cat has found this to be just about the best back-scratcher she has ever come across. She still has to jump, however, to get on the bed to remind me it is time to get up and feed her. Even cats can't have it all.

My bed has a 18 inch bed frame and a 14 inch mattress. I bought this to step up and help get into bed. It is heavy and does not slide around. It is perfect in that application. Assembled easily in minutes. And it is an attractive little step stool...

This step stool is a beautiful piece of furniture that is easy to put together and will look like you paid more than you did. It is very sturdy step stool, and you can tell right away that quality was a key in craftmanship. The company is professional, pleasant, and easy to work with if you have any issues.
