BedRemotes Saves the Day
Well... I was in a spot. Had just spend over $1000 to get my new fancy "Adjustable Bed" set up, in a newly refurbished room (w/ new flooring, mattress, etal)... and: My REMOTE didn't work. (It KINDA worked... in the DAYLIGHT... when you could SEE the buttons, but... in the Dark? The factory remote was a new "glass capacitive touchscreen". You know what that means? It has no BUTTONS; you can't FEEL the buttons - and you can't SEE them, in the dark. It's like a touchscreen phone - with the screen blank).SO: I go around and around with the company (any other remotes I can buy?). No. This is it. And I was sunk (feeling around in the dark, for my remote... which means ACCIDENTALLY touching a "foot massage" button - when merely GRABBING the remote... and chaos ensues). After looking all over creation - BedRemotes.com was there; incredible... knew EVERY aspect of these beds (the sub frequencies, which "button up + button down" programming would work, for which bed, etc.)I purchased this remote - and it works LIKE A DREAM.As you can see: With the LIGHTS OUT... the remote is BRILLIANTLY designed (for sight-impaired, or in a dark room) - you can feel tactile buttons - and follow an intuitive map, from the bottom buttons (massage, timer, flashlight) - up to the "equator" ridge... which lets your fingers feel the threshold to the "memory" and operations buttons - with long "rocker" buttons for the head and foot raise (so you can actually feel which head/foot raise/lower button you're about to hit).Everything about this remote has worked perfectly... from the 0.1 second it takes to "sync" with the new bed... to the nightly operation. It has the right weight, size, color, button-raise... everything... is as if you had your preferences built in.CURIOUS: HOW did this happen? (i.e., How did such a good remote - alternative or replacement - get provided, that would work so spot-on, on this particular adjustable bed?) . It is baffling. But... I dug a little deeper, to explain."BedRemotes.com" is part of a 3rd generation family group in Utah, that has progressed through the whole "Bradley's"->"RusticFurniture"->"SaltLakeMattresses" family corporate group. While the SALES floor looks like a regular furniture store... the BACK ROOM is CONSTANTLY testing, debugging, designing, and manufacturing parts for adjustable beds. "Matt" - is the 3rd generation master, who personally cuts wires, tests circuits, and... basically knows everything about what will work - and specially chooses these "Richmats" brand remotes, to work with particular beds. (By the way: That's why it's important you CONTACT Matt, to verify that your CURRENT bed or remote is custom-fit with their "BedRemotes" replacement... because the industry has a LOT of different possible combinations).SO: While this was a long commentary... (with apologies) - the adjustable bed industry is still (apparently) in its infancy - where we are far from a "universal" remote (one that can be programmed to "raise the head", "raise the foot", etc.). So, it is important, if you lose your remote - or want to change to a different remote - that you coordinate that with an expert in this field. And THAT (as I have found through the weeks of working with the bed company and these remote suppliers) - is a one-stop-shop with "Matt", at BedRemotes.com. If it CAN work - BedRemotes can find it. If it WON'T work - BedRemotes will tell you (as you can see on their Amazon descriptions). So, I hope this works for everyone else, as well as it has worked for me (BedRemotes.com saved the day, for me, on my new fancy adjustable bed purchase).

Easy to pair. Real buttons work better than the original remote.
