If you were to purchase the Innofader crossfader on this unit, that would cost you $150 alone. So, do the math. This is a great price point for a really fun portable turntable. I had no difficulty getting it set up. It's pretty much ready to go out of the box. I only wish that the headphone jack wasn't in the back, but that is far from a deal breaker. Torque is good. Motor responsive. Great curve controls. Perfect for scratch beginners or scratch pros.

This is my first vinyl scratch turntable and I'm very happy with it. If you are like I was and are stuck between deciding to get this or forking over more money for the reloop, get this! Unlike the reloop this already has a nice fader installed and costs way less.The only thing I can complain about is the tone arm is a little loose, like the other reviews mention, but that doesnt seem to affect the sound at all. The build quality on everything else is really good.PS If you bought this thinking you are going to play 12inch vinyl on it...lol...just lol

I was excited when I bought this turntable. I got it delivered and to my surprise I open up the outer packaging and noticed there was a huge tear across the original box. As I inspect the box I can hear pieces going around inside each time I turn the box which wasn't a good sign I thought. It turns out one of the locking sides that holds the turntable and cover together was broken off. If it was fixable I would've done it myself and ignored the issue but I couldn't. So I'm returning it today and feel bummed out 😞. However the turntable itself was legit. I did use it for a bit and had fun with it. I'm for sure buying another one once I get my refund.

I purchased this beautiful record player/DJ scratch turntable. What I didn't realize is that it only plays 7 inch records not 12 inch records. It plays 7 inch records at three different speeds 33,45 and 78, but only 7 inch. I can't begin to tell you how disappointed that makes me because it has such great features. It even has USB recording which is fantastic and you don't need to hook it up to a computer to digitize vinyl, just plug in a USB thumb drive and hit recorder. Sadly I had to return it because I can't claim my 12 inch albums on it..

I was about to make the decision to either purchase the pt2 or the looper until I came across the the STX. I'm so glad I held back on those decision because the STX was the best choice. The turntable is responsive sturdy and constructed very well. The only drawback is the Nano fader. Had to switch it to the left and tbh it's not the best fader for the job. I've been a scratch fanatic for 15 yrs and if your looking for a great portable for on the road or some chill practice in the back yard this is the perfect substitute vs bringing everything. The shortage in 7in scratch vinyl is seeming to become a problem to get ahold of. So that tell me the portability of the scratching has picked up. Works great for me but with some fine tuning I couldn't be any happier. Thanks Stanton for one of the best portable scratching turntables on the market. Highly recommended 👌 👍.

Ok first things first. For the people saying it doesn't play 12inch records, why on GOD's green earth would you expect it to? It's a portablist scratching turntable meant for the 7inch scratch records made specifically for these types of decks. You can't even scratch a 12inch competently on the PT01 Scratch because its a lower powered belt driven platter which is not up to the task of spinning a heavier 12inch vinyl. With that out of the way, the STX has everything you would have to pay extra to mod into the PT01 and then some. I play my beats over Bluetooth from my Samsung phone which is awesome. The speaker on it is better than the PT01s speaker and it sounds great. It has a legit pitch slider, Ultrapitch, a start stop button, you can move the fader to the left hand and its not a pain in the butt to scratch the record with your right hand because the tonearm is not in the way. They really did an amazing job with this turntable. I don't find any issues with the Innofader Nano that it comes with. Yes its not the tightest cut. I usually like it so as soon as you move it out of the corner, you get the opposite sound, but its not far off from that tight. It's perfectly scratchable including crab scratches. I love the fact that you can record to a USB drive to critique your scratch session later on. I formatted a drive I use specifically for the STX now. It feels well made and I love that you can raise the height by placing it inside the top. Really genius. If you're into portablism, this deck is the cream of the crop now, and you will have everything you need to get going plus more. I'd give it 10 stars if I could!!!

This is hands down the best portable scratching turntable I have used. Just make sure the battery is charged or the Bluetooth doesn't work properly.
