Absolutely no different than jameed the Arabic main dish I haven't been able to get something as close as the real jameed until I bought this AMAZING product thank you New York spice shop you guys have a lifetime customer now

I tried few different kurts from Amazon and this was the worst one. It tastes like a dry salty dough... nothing even close to dairy

I was excited to receive this dried yogurt after I brought back some from Israel. The Israeli Kurut was brittle and I was able to grind it to spread over salads and soups. This one is hard as stone and you cannot grind it or cut it. It’s a piece of stone. When I rehydrated it to test the flavor it tasted more like flour with a bit of tang. I am disappointed with this product and will not be purchasing more. Maybe I don’t know how to use it? But based on my experience with dried yogurt purchases in Jerusalem, I know what I wanted. This isn’t it.
