Our seven year old German Shepherd suffers from Degenerative Myelopathy and it took our family by surprise. Our girl can no longer walk unassisted, and this harness allows her to still walk the block with us. It is a little big on her, but we adjusted it so it fits better and she seems comfortable. Very grateful to get a few more walks together. Would recommend this to anyone!

This is an amazing sling. It'll stay han, while they're walking. It is extra great for female. unfortunately, I had to return as it rested while on too close to front of my boys ×%#^# and it seemed to arouse him so had to return, in case there a medical issue arrised from it. Though if I had a girl, I would have kept it for sure, and i'm sorry, it didn't work out for my baby, because it's so much easier than the slings you have to wrap around them b4 use.

The product was very well made with sturdy stitching. However, it was too large to fit the torso on my elderly Siberian husky plus it was fur line, which does not work during the summer months in Florida.

My almost 13 year old Great Dane stands at the bottom of the stairs proudly waiting for us to slip this under him and walk him up the stairs.Works wonderfully and really has given us more time with him being able to get around. Carrying his backside off the steps without this was physically kicking my butt.

This sling works great, my 13 yr old german shepherd is in her mid stages of DM and we needed something temporary until her wheelchair arrives for her hind legs. The extra velcro strap is a huge help. It's wide enough to support lifting her up, the straps even at the smallest is still long but can't really complain, I could've gotten away with the medium size.

There's not necessarily anything "wrong" with this sling regarding the quality or item description or anything like that. I got exactly what I expected, it just didn't help me like I'd hoped. I got this because A. my senior 60ish lb pit, who already has a bit of weakness in his back end, had a surgery coming up and I knew the pain meds he would be on after the surgery were going to make it even harder for him to walk and steady himself, and B. though I wanted one that also clips around the back legs, can be used to fully pick him up and carry him if needed, and has a hole for male dogs to urinate while wearing it, those are significantly pricier and I couldn't find one of those that had satisfactory enough reviews to justify spending so much more for it.I lived in a 2nd-floor apartment at the time and already carried my dog down the stairs to take him out every time, but he usually did okay going up on his own, sometimes with a little help. I intended to use this to help him go to the bathroom and get up the stairs after his surgery. It's quite soft and seems comfortable enough as far as I can tell. I didn't notice any places where I felt like it was bothering him. It also seems to hold his weight fine the little bit that I tried, but I ultimately didn't even use it because it wouldn't stay up far enough on his chest to hold him up while peeing so that it would be out of the way and not get peed on and trying to use it to help him up the stairs was just kind of... awkward.Since it's just flat and he has a big chest that then slopes somewhat dramatically into a smallish waist it doesn't follow the curve of his underside (I hope that makes sense). Maybe it would have worked better on a larger dog as long as it's sturdy enough to hold or on any dog who has more of a flat chest/belly area, but for me, it didn't make my life any easier so it just hangs in his cabinet untouched. :/

After my dog’s surgery this product made it easier to help him get around.

Perfect for my 15 yr old senior. She's over 80 pounds. Kept her warm during the winter and didn't hurt her belly.
