I’ve had a few of these space saving bags from different companies. The cheaper bags tend to get punctured easily when I’ve used them in suitcases, traveling etc. All it takes is one small leak and they won’t hold their compression anymore. These Eagle Creek bags are kind of expensive, but they work great. They’re tuff as nails and will last for years. I have another set of these I bought for backpacking ages ago. They still work perfectly, but I had to replace them with this new set. I left some damp gear in them and I can’t seem to get the musty smell out!

This is a higher quality bag than the thin single-wall imitation. Had this before, 20+ years ago, kept one in each suitcase to use on multi-day trips until I could launder. Suitcase stays clean & odor-free. The Eagle Creek brand was hard to find, was advised that it was no longer available but I took a chance and I'm so glad I did!

Durable material, easy to use. Worked as described. Very good quality product.Allowed me to pack for a week in a carry-on.

I used it for a recent trip to compress my clothes and after a few times, you could notice that air was leaking into the bag and it wasn’t airtight. The durability is not what I had imagined…

This is my second time buying this and it’s been fantastic for someone who travels a lot. But also good to use if you need the store close during seasons.

These are smaller than the ones I ordered directly from Eagle Creek (same sizes), but now I have more variety and they really compress when filled with closed and air is squeezed out of the end.

These bags did a tremendous job in keeping the backpack as compact as possible allowing it on as a carryon.

I've owned these sacs for a long time and they are very effective. Made of a strong plastic that has a sort of mesh design built-in and is very durable compared with other brands. What sets these apart from others is the strength of the closure. I try and fit as many soft items in it as possible as that gives the best results. Obviously tee shirts will compress more than say jeans. The closure is two channels and once you have zipped them together and make sure they are squeezed shut there is little chance of them opening. At least that has been my experience over several European trips. I once had a Samsonite version but it was flimsier and the closure would not hold when the sac was fully packed. In comparison the Eagle Creek never fails.You may see travel influencers not in favor of this type of sac because they wrinkle clothes. Frankly, every place I stay has an iron and two minutes later the creases are gone.I find the compression packing cubes to be less effective in compressing soft items but they do have their place.Not cheap but like a lot of Eagle Creek products they are worth the extra cost

Und vor diesem Kauf haben wir - okay, ich, mein Mann wollte von vornherein diese nehmen - billigere ausprobiert. Zwei unterschiedliche Hersteller, beide erheblich billiger - leider im wahrsten Sinn des Wortes!Beide hatten super Bewertungen hier bei Amazon - teilweise schon hunderte!Ich weiß nicht, was die Leute für einen Vergleich gehabt haben, aber sicher nicht mit diesen von Eagle Creek!Die Billig-Tüten haben nicht mal 24 Stunden das Vakuum und die Rollenform halten können! Einige waren schon nach zwei Stunden wieder im Ursprungszustand oder sind gar schon bei der ersten Benutzung kaputt gegangen.Wir werden also bei den Vakuum-Taschen von Eagle Creek bleiben!Schon John Ruskin wusste, wer das Geld hat, billig zu kaufen, hat auch das Geld gute Qualität zu kaufen. Denn wer billig kauft, kauft am Ende zwei Mal und damit meist teurer als wenn er gleich die gute Qualität gekauft hätte!Übrigens, wir haben davon nicht deswegen schon mehrere Sets gekauft weil die anderen Tüten kaputt wären, sondern weil wir diese Tüten inzwischen für immer mehr Sachen verwenden und nicht nur ausschließlich im Reisegepäck.Für uns gibt es hierzu keine Alternative!!!!!!👍⭐️
