Perfect entry level smoker
Recently bought this, was a little nervous as there’s no other reviews. I’m new to smoking, but a keen bbq’er. There’s not much assembly required, just to screw on the feet and vents and fit the door handles and it’s ready. You will need to prime it first, as mentioned in the instructions (basically do a smoke without food to rid the smoker of paint fumes) I’ve done 2 smokes, the first one I found that I didn’t use enough fuel, so wasn’t able to maintain a good temperature. The second time came out great! Considering the price, I’m really happy with the sturdiness and quality of the product and that there’s hardly any assembly needed. Any advice I would give is to use much more fuel than the instructions say, as I figured that out quite fast. Also, the picture of the dimensions are wrong. The overall height is taller than shown, it is only the smoker unit which is 1m heigh, the overall height is at least 1.2m

Great cold smoker
Works well cold smoking using a pellet tube. Have tried cheese, salmon and prawns so far,then I tried hot smoking a small Brisket I used good quality charcoal but could not get the temperature high enough. I think the fire pan is much to small am now looking for a fire basket that will fit preferably square and as large as possible. I rescued the brisket in a slow cooker had the smokeyness and melted in the mouth so saved it from the bin.

Use good quality large charcoal
Excellent smoker. East to assemble. We are new to Smoking meat. We smoked our first batch of pork yesterday. We made sure to buy good quality charcoal. The smoker held the temperature well and required minimum effort throughout. Very pleased with the results.
