Firstly I’m a below knee amputee with a prothetic leg. As an honorary pirate therefore I felt I required a few pirate things to enjoy the situation and impress the grandkids, you get the idea. That out of the way. I’m also an ex forces R.A.F. marksman who still likes to shoot and I also hunt. So I know my optics is the point. BAK4 optics are very good, the reason I chose this particular telescope because I wanted it to be functional, not a child’s toy. I did not expect too much for the price having spent a whole lot more on other monocular solutions. So when I examined and used the ‘scope I was not really surprised at the excellent image quality, I was however delighted and surprised with the build quality. Veterans know good kit when they use it and abuse it. This can take it. Top marks. Pouch is decent enough for immediate use, should last a while but this deserves an upgrade for a proper pirate. There goes my next dab-loon!!

The telescope looks very good, very authentic as the 'pirate' scope it was intended to imitate, and is good value for money. It arrived promptly, and works well, giving a clear sharp image.

hard to focus

I've searched for years to find an affordable vintage-looking scope with decent magnification and clear optics - and now I've finally found it. It may feel a little lightweight, but looks good, focusing is ridiculously easy and it is amazingly clear. Far better than you could hope for at this price, and actually outperforms scopes I own that cost 5 times more. Highly recommended.

To be honest, I thought this looked cute but may be a bit useless. I was wrong - it's remarkable quality, especially for such a good price. Plus it's light and very easy to carry -would definitely recommend

For £20 this has been an excellent purchase that actually performs better than I thought it would . Took a while to get the focus right but once I did , then just had such fun ! Take it on all my adventures into the great Scottish landscape.

Comprato per il bimbo che voleva un cannocchiale "che si allunga" e non uno di quelli moderni e tecnologici, ma che sono troppo da adulti. Pensavo fosse più giocattoloso, invece è un bel prodotto, fatto bene e anche di una certa consistenza. come ingrandimenti, non aspettatevi miracoli, ma qualcosa fa, per il bimbo va benissimo.
