Will this read the DC current in automobiles ?

The Fluke 302+ will not read DC current. The Fluke 325 will measure AC and DC current.

Made in china? If so, not interested.

Yes made in China but most are made in China and it doesn't mean it's bad, I have plenty of excellent products made in China
