These are a nice idea
In theory these would be very nice, I find that mine tend to leak and when I removed them to clean out the filter, it broke the o-rings that are to keep the thing from leaking, these should be made better so they wont cause problem.

Not 1 1/2"
I purchased 4 of these to use with a 1 1/2 " hose (Little Giant 566183 T-11/2-50 BFPVC Flex PVC Tubing, 1-1/2-Inch by 50-Feet, Black ) however, these fittings do not have a 1 1/2" barb as stated. The package claims it is 1 1/2", it is more like 1 1/4". The Laguna pump I bought has a adapter with a 1 1/2 " barb, this one (purchased) can almost fit inside the original one. The one that came with the pump fits the hose perfectly. What the heck I purchased the 4 plus some other things I didn't need right now, just so I could take advantage of the "add-on" purchase of this product. What A rip off !
