Bargain, simple to attach, effective in use
Easy to fix onto chimney, works well, much cheaper that similar ones on Amazon. Thanks to previous reviewer's tip I prepared the metal ring too attach it to chimney before I went up on the roof. Left enough loop to slide over top of cowl and chimney so that all I had to do on site was tighten it.

Good Value
It has only been fitted recently, so cannot comment on reliability and longevity of the product. The fitter had no problem so that is a plus. Our last one blew off the chimney with the recent storm, no longer to be seen :-( Hopefully this one has secure fittings. Giving it 4 stars as it was well priced and promptly delivered.

Not fitted this one yet , but its the third I've bought, really good value. The only 'tip' is to form the worm drive clip into a unit before you go up the ladder, can be fiddly to do when you're up there!

good chimney protection.
Good product. Seems well made. I got the silver finish but I'm probably going to spray it before I put it up as its just bare galvanised metal. All fittings are included and it will suit many different sizes. Good buy overall. Fits great and I put a good spray cover on it.

Check your chimney pot before ordering
This cowl can only be used by fitting over an exposed chimney pot and using the clamp it is of no use fitting it to an internal flue as the straps are very flimsy and will blow off with any wind as happened to me
