It arrived a few days before expected which is always ok in my book. It was packed well but there were 2 panels that were slightly bowed (I don't believe that happened in shipping) but no big deal, I was able to straighten them out. Now, the instructions for assembly are interesting... do you drink wine? If so, pour a glass and put on something relaxing to help keep you from throwing it through a wall. Once I accepted the instructions were a joke and that I was on my own, it actually went fairly smoothly considering I had no clue what I was doing. I started putting it together. Decided that was wrong and did it differently only to realize I had indeed put that panel in the right place the first time. Took it apart again and put it back like I had it the first time. It was comical. Later. It was comical later. All jokes aside, the directions are garbage. Pay close attention to the pieces and the pictures. Pictures are all you get. I did have all my pieces. I did finally get it together and I did it by myself. An extra set of hands would have been helpful a time or two but it is doable if your husband goes fishing instead of helping. I mean, if you need to do it solo, it's doable. I have two budgies. It is more cage than they probably need but they are loving it! I saw a few reviews saying a budgie would fit through the gaps and maybe I have pudgie budgies but they aren't squeezing through there. The bottom door is a little wonky but nothing too serious, just a little harder to open than the top door. I'm able to wipe it down with a wet wipe in a few minutes for clean up. It came with four decent size two sided food/water dishes that hook on and three dowel perches. So far, so good. Nice set up for the money! I'm pleased. My budgies are pleased.

My birds seem to like it, I wish it was wider than it was tall for flight but it does the job.

I have 2 budgies and this cage is perfect for them! The cage arrived quickly. It came with instructions which were a bit confusing, and I admit I had some trouble with assembly, but that’s because I did it myself. However, I paid more attention and was able to figure everything out in the end. The cage also came with 2 or 3 dowel perches which I did not put in the cage, as well as some plastic food and water holders which I didn’t add either. The bottom grate and tray slide in and out which make cleaning the cage and swapping out the lining super easy! I like having the ability to store things on the bottom shelf. It’s quite sturdy, and durable. For its low price, this cage is definitely worth it. Hope this helps 💕

Easy to put together and perfect for 5 budgies and 2 cockatiels

First, the only con: the assembly instructions are poor. They are only drawn pictures that look like they have been photocopied once too many times, and this is the ONLY reason for not giving it 5 stars. Once you figure out all the parts (which look very similar to each other) this goes together quickly. Pros: extremely sturdy and well made. It's also easy to clean as the tray and grate come out separately. Plenty of space for several birds. I have one cockatiel and he loves the space. It is heavy, but even so, it rolls over carpet easily. Comes with 4 double food/water cups and 3 wood bars. You are going to want to put lots of toys in it (more than enough room. The storage tray on the bottom is great for holding food, treats, bedding etc. I would definitely recommend this for cockatoos, cockatiels or even parakeets. Great item!

I bought these for my mother-in-law who has three African grays. All I can say is that she praises these cages to me almost every day on how easy they are to keep clean how easy they are to roll in and out of the house. These cages are definitely worth your money and they are big in spacious. she did say the first one was a little difficult to put together because of the directions. But after the first one, the other two are really easy.

So about 2 years ago we got 3 cockatiels as pets and those 3 have turned into 13. Where we live you need a license to rehome them and we don’t have said license yet so we needed some cages to spread out the babies and keep them separated by gender. We had bought $250 cages that were similar dims from Chewy in the past, but we didn’t want to drop $500 to expand so we decided to try these. Pros: The price is really the only pro Cons: - super hard to assemble. The holes didn’t line up on the cage, several pieces were bent, and it was just generally exhausting. Thankfully my boyfriend was able to get them both together by fixing the holes and bending bars back, but if it was just me putting them together it would have been useless. - definitely not suitable for small birds like finches or parrotlets. There are a few spots where the bars have gaps that are definitely big enough for a small bird to go out - the other major con is the latches. They are just pins on chains and I feel like most conures and other “smart” birds would just pull them right out. If you are looking for a bargain these work, but they definitely need some mods to work properly. Overall I would give it a 3 I guess, but I won’t be purchasing the cages again.
