HJC Helmet HJ-09 RST Mirror Coating Shield Visor Gold Color

This fits the CS-R2 perfectly, unlike a cheaper 3rd party brand which left a gap so bad that the wind would tear my eyes every time. This seals all of the air out, resting flush against its closed position mount. It requires an easy snap up to open, but works well. The new HJC visor is also a lot easier to install (5 minutes tops) compared to the older models from years ago. This also has a super clear view, so it will feel like you're looking through glass instead of a tinted mirror. The mirror effect works well to cover your face, though in sunlight where it's dawn or dusk, your face will become partially visible. Day time sunlight, it's covered by the mirror effect. Always wash it with a smooth towel, and NEVER use paper towel or tissues, which will slowly scratch and rub off the mirror effect as I learned in the past. Great visor.

As other reviews stated this shield is not pinlock ready. Not a problem if you only ride in warm weather or aren't afraid to drill and add the pinlock pins yourself like I did. When I first pulled the shield out of the package I wasn't impressed with the mirroring, but it's a lot better once on the helmet. I haven't had any trouble with the finish coming off, but haven't really got it wet. I have used a dry microfiber cloth to clean fingerprints and didn't have any scratching. All things considered, I'm happy with this shield and would recommend it.

I ordered 2 of these for something a friend and I were doing at the end of September.One of the shields had a huge scratch right in the middle of it.I emailed them about it and they said they'd send me a return label and issue a refund, but at that point it was too late. It was only like 4 days away from when I needed them. I emailed them saying thanks for the labels but I'm just going to have to deal with a big ugly scratch in the middle of my shield for this event. I also mentioned that they should try and make it a habit of providing good service to begin with. And that was pretty much it. No follow up apology or "Well again we're sorry I hope in the future we can provide you with excellent service"... You know, things a REAL business would do? Very unsatisfied. Don't use this seller.So... for the product itself? I've been buying things online for a long time. I know not everythingyou see is what you get. The rich deep gold in the stock photo up there.... isn't what you're buying so beware. It's a very very light tint. And I bought 2! They came separately packed, and the quality is exactly the same on both (minus the custom scratch). Yeah and they are totally see through as well. In all lighting, indoors and out... you can see right through the shield and see the wearers entire face clear as day. I was most disappointed with that. Trust me.. after talking to a bunch of people, they said the other shields on amazon are better quality for the same or lower money AND excellent service. Go look at those.

These are awesome and fit well with my HJC helmet. No one can see my face through these tinted lens, and when looking through them you can see everything perfectly, though it seems to suggest they are only for daytime, they work fine even in the evening, I can see everything just as if i was wearing my night vision glasses which are also just yellow tinted glasses. These definitely increase your coolness factor ten fold!

Looks good on helmet. Not as tinted as I thought but still good. Also does not fit as tight as OEM clear visor so get a little more wind coming through and noise. Cant talk to durability as I have not used it long so we will have to see if it holds up (scratches and tint not chipping off).

The visor is made by HTC, made in Korea. The gold is no where near like the photo. It is gold, but its more of a washed out yellow. It still provides excellent mirroring to the point where it is impossible to see into the visor. It is lightly tinted and I will not be using it at night. It is easy to swap visors on my CL-17 so I simply will keep the stock clear one in my backpack when I plan on riding at night.

My last one started being hard to see out of after 3 years so it was time to replace it. New one is perfect. Helmet is black and gold, so this gold shield looks great on it. I get a ton of compliments about it. I don't really notice much distortion looking through it unless I'm wearing my polarized sunglasses.

Works good, not a completely perfect deal but doesn’t spray wind in my face or make too much noise. Just a tiny whistle if I don’t push it down far enough. Looks badass as well. HLC-16 helmet

ミラーシールドは夜見えないと思っていたが思った以上にクリアに見えて良かった。ただhjcのヘルメットの場合取り外しレバーが隠れて簡単には外せない。

ｸﾘｱｼｰﾙﾄﾞだと朝日や夕方の西日の光が辛くなってきたので購入しました。程よく遮光してくれるのでよかったです。

暗くなると見にくいかと思ってましたが、想像より明るく見えたので、気に入りました。
