Chelsio NetApp Dual Port SFP+ 10GBE PCIe 111-00603-A0

This card works great in a PC - either via DAC or via fiber SFP+. Transfer speeds range from 560 to 1080 MBps. This is using the Chelsio S320 drivers from the Chelsio site and 9000 MTU. The only con is they run hot when installed in an upright tower case (heat sink is on the lower half.) You will want some airflow in your case.

I slapped this in my FreeNAS 11 box and gave it an IP. Works great! No fuss, great performance. Very pleased.

Works perfectly with FreeNAS 11. I put it in and FreeNAS recognized it without any further action.

Works great on windows 10 and my qnap ts-531x NAS. I used the S320E drivers. At first I could not get it to work, but rebooting the system twice, it started working. I was getting almost 400MB/SEC on a file xfer using standard WD red drives in a raid 5 set up. I decided to mess with some payload settings and somehow I now only get 300MB/SEC after resetting to previous settings. I tried both jumbo MTU at 1500 and 9000 settings. Not sure what I did, but still at these speeds the NAS seem like a local drive to the computer.Very happy with the purchase. I decided to purchase more, but they are sold out so I ordered four single port SFP+ cards (card model starts with an M) so I can put the rest of my computers on 10G.
