it’s a ceiling medallion, is made of a hard pressed foam material (it seems), has the exact dimensions as stated.they were purchased to compliment a ceiling fan, so the dimensions mattered.no complaints & have already purchased again for more ceiling fans.

These worked perfect. Worried about stiffness of material but they did exactly what we needed them for .

Formed foam worked great

It would be great to have a little light adhesion on these things -- enough to hold to the ceiling but allow the medallion to be adjusted for fit. It was a lot to manage with medallion, junction box wiring, light fixture, etc. I could have used double stick tape or something, but having that on the medallion already would have really helped. The ceiling medallions look great once installed! Factor in the thickness with your junction box hardware.

missed a window to return, the item is so strange, I can't even imagine to attach it to any ceiling...
