I love all her "GEM" books. As an amateur gem collector, this book really helps when I have a decision to make. It's understandable, goes into fairly good detail, and I love the pictures. She covers the exotic gems that you usually find on the market that one can purchase and even some you don't see very often. I've read and reread all of them, and I'm sure I'll be using this one for years to come. Thanks again, Renee Newman!

Exposes the reader to so many different gemstones , and a practical way to identify them and care for them, the series is well written and a must have for all gemstone collectors.

An enjoyable book, full of colored pics.

It is so enjoyable to be able to focus on several stones and learn oodles and have wonderful photography--plenty of it! I cannot wait for volume 4
