I bought this motor to gently rock our baby’s crib, and it’s been one of the best purchases we've made. To get smooth and consistent motion, make sure the string tension is just right, not too tight or too loose. I secured the motor base firmly to the floor using strong double-sided tape, which keeps it stable during use. Once installed, fine-tune the speed setting to achieve a gentle, soothing swing.

This is like a toy motor, not a heavy duty working motor. Good for teaching, or to wave a pennant in your window display. Not good for doing work.

Not enough starting torque

I needed it for swinging the hanging cradle. This work great. I have been using it for few months now with no problem.
