I’ve used this gel for IPL and for radio frequency. I liked it for the radio frequency, as it does help the skin somewhat when the skin is getting overly warm. However, I use IPL on my underarms and bikini area, and found that the gel wasn’t nearly cooling enough to help combat the intensity of heat, for me. I do use IPL on full/almost full power though, and I have black hair, so I do find that the zaps from IPL can be really painful. I still prefer numbing cream for my bikini area. The zaps mostly aren’t that painful in my underarm area, so this gel works ok for my underarm area.I do radio frequency mostly on my face, and found that this gel has a slightly unpleasant smell to it. But it’s not so intense that I can smell it when using it in areas not in such close proximity to my nose. It’s only when it’s very close to my nose (for example on my upper lip) that it bothers me.I like this gel and find it to be handy for radio frequency and for areas outside the bikini area when I’m using IPL. I like the ingredients added to promote healthy skin, as well.

First, I want to state that I received this product for evaluation. In my reviews I state my truth and honest opinion based on my experiences using the product because this is what I expect from other reviewers. I planned to use the cooling gel for skin to apply to my skin after depilation or sun exposure. I expect that it soothes and does not irritate my skin.This product met all my expectations, and the quality is great. This is a large tube of gel. You may estimate its size from the pictures where the product is on a blue 0.5-inch grid. The gel is intended to be used with laser or IPL hair removal equipment but can also be used after depilation or sun exposure, which is how I used it. The gel is not greasy and has no discernible scent. It felt nice on my skin, and I did not have an allergic reaction. After applying it, my skin felt smooth and not sticky or oily.Overall, this is a good product for your skin after sun exposure or depilation.

I recently picked up a Nuovoluce micro current machine and realized that I needed conductive gel to make it work. Well, this seems to do the trick. It's thick and aloe based. When I use it with the micro current machine, I can feel eye muscles twitching and if I get to the edges without this gel, I'd feel small shocks of electricity. It definitely works better than trying to use regular water-based serum.It also works well wtih my IPL machine. Even though cooling gel wasn't required for use, I can feel a difference in heat between the areas where I used this vs. where I did not. This works well for that purpose as well. I wouldn't leave this on after treatment since it contains DMDM hydantoin, which is rated a 6 on EWG. However, I wouldn't hesitate to use this during my treatments since it works!

This works much better than we thought it would. My wife has areas that hurt more than others when using the IPL laser and we tried this cooling gel for the first time and it didn't hurt her at all. It was truly a life-saver! Not sticky, cleans up easily, and she says even her skin felt cooler afterward. Definitely going to get more of this stuff!

This tube is meant to be used in conjunction with a laser epilator (while you are using it), but it can also be used afterward to soothe skin, and can be used on sunburn. It is cooling and smoothing, but I haven't used it with an epilator because I found out that my hair is too light to use with an epilator; so I can't review that aspect of the gel. It contains rose water and aloe, as well as glycerin.

I bought this to go with an IPL, but then the IPL order was cancelled on me so I can’t say how this works with that device. As a sunburn gel though, it works well. It is soothing and cooling on burned skin and it doesn’t have that sticky, tacky feel that some sunburn gel products have.
