Easy to clean, sturdy, and thick! Made with real tree bark around the rim. I love this little cutting board. It's portable with the handle and a great size for easily moving around the kitchen, or using as a charcuterie baord. I appreciate the weight of it - it is very good quality. The shape is a bit irregular but that's the point, it's fashionable and useful.

This is an interesting cutting board. Its got an arrow-like paddle shape to it. Its carved from a mid-sized tree and the cross-section still shows the inner rings and the bark on the edges. I thought the board was primarily for display when I first saw it.The board is smooth and has a laminated feel to it on either side. After use and cleaning, there’s no discernible warping or chipping. Immensely functional, despite its unique aesthetics.I chop smaller fruits and vegetables on this, but I think it could also serve as a rustic charcuterie board at parties or social functions.

I selected this because I wanted to see how they managed to put a faux natural bark edge around a slatted wood cutting board piece. They basically hand picked little squares of bark and glued them all on to appear as if this was a live edge cut of a tree.In any case, I'm okay with using this for charcuterie but I would not put anything juicy on here. The juice could run into where the bark is glued on, and embed there and be hard to clean...The wood itself is not entirely flat on my example so it rocks a little bit. I intend to plane it uniform on both sides to eliminate any modern finish and to apply either some paint or woodburning to it to hang it in my house as a shield of honor.Sorry but I don't think I'd pay what they're asking for this item...

The cutting board is very attractive and the wood surface has a satin like finish.Vast part of the wood surface is smooth but there are small area that is left slightly rough.The size is very ideal size for my use.I’m using it in my home bar as cutting board to prepare and serve snacks (cheese, nuts, crackers).Paddle shape makes it easy to carry and serve.Although tree bark rim adds a nice touch, but not sure how it will hold up as it seemed to be less durable compared to the wood.It looks as the tree bark rim are individual pieces glued on to the wood and then filed with filler etc.Not sure of the proper method to clean and maintain the wood as there was no instruction provided.I have been wiping it with moist towel and immediately wiping it and let it air dry after each use.

This is a super nice board with an unfinished edge to it. I gave this as a gift for a charcuterie lover and they really seemed to appreciate and enjoy it. It has this live edge to it that is pretty unique in comparison to most other boards out there. To be honest, the boxing and packaging doesn't make it the most gift able option, it comes in a pretty thin, and in my case beat up box but the board itself was packaged with a film and was in great shape. I just included it with some of my friends favorite cheeses and a cheese knife and they were over the moon about it. I think this is an awesome gift and sure to please. The weight is substantial but not to heavy and it is plenty nice for display. It's not designed for actually cutting on but more for show and for that, I think it is a great value. Highly recommend.

The board itself is thick and sturdy, and I love the look of the live edge with the bark. Personally, that component is making me nervous to use this for food preparation as I wouldn't want moisture getting into the porous material, but it will make for a very pretty display piece.
