Good Imitation for the Money, but Not Identical
First things first, this is not an actual Origami branded dripper and I don’t love the not-so-subtle claims of such. I ordered this dripper purely out of curiosity. I own 3 Origami (real) drippers and wanted to see how close an imitation could get for a third of the price (w/ shipping). Shipping was decently fast, and the other reviewer who mentioned packaging was spot on. It is well packed, but the styrofoam box is impenetrable and makes a terrible mess as it self-destructs.As for the dripper itself, it’s not bad. Quality of the material is pretty good, no complaints there. The cost-savings appears to be in the craftsmanship and refinement. It is nearly twice as thick as the actual origami, and the edges are much less sharp. It is more “sanded down” on every fold. It does feature the same 20 folds, so the Kalita filters will work well. It is about a half inch taller than the actual origami, but that’s not a big deal. The other area it differs greatly is in the bottle of the dripper. The origami is “folded” all the way to the edge, while this imitation is rounded out at the bottom. Not really a big deal for coffee making, it’s just less impressive.Overall, this will let you find out whether you like the coffee this style dripper produces, for a much lower cost than the real thing. In my opinion, anyone looking for that info should just buy a plastic V60. Anyone who’s interested in an Origami is at least slightly concerned with the overall aesthetics of their setup, which is a good thing. In that case, just get the original and know you have the best. You’ll never brag to your friends about this one, although it’ll still make fine coffee.

Not bad
Reasonable price even if you add delivery fee.First of all, delivery is slightly long. It took a couple of days more than maximum estimated delivery.Packaging is nice but cheap Styrofoam scatters everywhere. Need to open from outside. The very first smell is like Enamel paint. But they are gone after a cleaning.Cleaning and test was done with a boiling water: soak in a boiling water and rinse.

Sort of pricey for what it is, BUT...
This is the perfect little ring to hold an origami-style coffee dripper. List price seemed a little high for what it was... a little round piece of wood.. right? Not until you check out what the Origami brand is asking for theirs. *gasp* I would recommend purchasing this option, it's perfect!
