Fine for the money.
I bought these for my Welsh Sheepdog because he had a claw break off one of his rear paws so it needed protection when he was outside which was a lot. Size 4 is what I got him, the next size down would have been better it turned out but the size 4 did stay on mostly, it just needed tightening firmly but being careful not to cut off the blood supply! One boot was used daily for about 2 weeks, the claw healed nicely. As for being 'breathable', nope, I can't agree with that, his little paw was always sweaty with a boot on. Probably needs Goretex or something like that but then the price would be high. Waterproof would be a welcome bonus especially in the Scottish Highlands where it is very wet and cold much of the year especially in winter. The velcro held up well, the boot didn't come off due to velcro failings, it did come off a few times at the start due to it being a little too big for his rear paws and being careful how tight to go but that was sussed out with a little trial and error, the size 4 does however fits his front paws spot on.

Brilliant - easy to get on/off AND waterproof
My dog has an injured paw and his vet says he *has* to keep his foot dry when outside, even just to do his business. This boot is just perfect - so easy to get on/off, doesn't fall off and keeps his paw dry. Brilliant, very pleased :)(He's a big Mini Schnauzer, size M fits him perfectly)

nice style boots but not lasting long
I spotted these after I had first tried some others that were so large my dog couldn't put her foot down. These fit her perfectly as she has very slim legs due to muscle wastage although sizes would indicate she should be a larger size. They are a nice style and look like little trainers! It didn't take her long to get used to them.I bought first pair a few weeks ago and already the soles are quite worn down. my dogs problem is she is not picking up her back feet properly everytime but is still able to walk unsupported (without doggy cart etc) so is still able to manage a 20-30min slow walk and pottering round the garden. They do come off her sometimes when she's been walking in long grass on bumpy ground but I suspect thats cos she is not picking her feet up properly and the ends are catching on raised ground then dropping off where ground dips etc. .. although I fasten the velcro as tight as it will go. I think small would be too small to actually fit her paws into.I've just got a second pair as I got a voucher so she has a spare pair but at the rate she wears the soles down I might be needing a pair every month anyway! ... but its better that than the bottom of her paws sore and bleeding all the time and her being unable to come on walks. She had worn a back nail down to its quick and it split leaving a trail of blood everywhere. The boots are better than her having to have her back feet in bandage the whole time!

Do the job
Have had various problems over the years with my dogs paws. These boots really do the job . They are a good fit and stay on and she doesn't bother getting then on at all . They appear sturdy enough . So overall a good buy though I can't comment on their comfort.

Not for dachshund
After opening the box the booties seemed very well made, but unfortunately they do not work on dachshund feet. The soles are too stiff and the boots immediately spun around my dog's paw with the sole facing up.Might work better for dogs with non-dachshund proportioned legs/paws.

A little heavy and clumsy for a small dog but do the job well.
Bought for a bitch who suffers allergies when out and about with "bare feet" and took a while for me to get the hang of getting them done up well enough to stay on her and a while for her to get the hang of running free across the fields, beaches and walking on roads and pavements too wearing them but after a few weeks I am on the whole delighted with these. A quick rinse in the machine after the walk and after MILES of wearing them they are as good as the day I bought them. My one reservation would be that they are a bit heavy and clumsy for a small dog ( and took a while for her to get used to them) but I guess that is the price of great sturdyness and durability. With a bit of perseverance I would thoroughly recommend these

Did the job well protected my dogs poor whilst walking stopping any further infection.
Well as I didn’t wear it can’t really comment on comfort but dog walked fine with it on & did the job of stopping him from licking the infection so happy with purchase & paw healed now.
