Fantastic value, and fantastic phone.
Fantastic quality phone at a killer price! It's refurbished, but I can't even tell. It looks brand new! Battery life is great, and it works with all apps I've thrown at it yet. Works with Boost Mobile, and while the phone is a little on the bulky side, it's a great device and well worth the carry - especially for durability. Having a touch screen is really nice too. Overall, a great buy and a better phone.

It's a DUMBPHONE w/ Android. I'ts cool AF
OK. I like it. battery life could be better. I ordered a new battery just in case. I'll get a full day's use out of it at worst. I have been setting it up and battery use is a little on the high side. I'm not a big talker or texter, nor will i be online much with this. I have a 500mb data plan on Tello and pay only $9 a moth with taxes. I bought a Nokia 6300 but couldn't bet texting to work so I saw this phone. it's big, it's heavy and it's indestructible. I just want a basic phone w/ maps and few other apps I'll use occasionally and this is all I need. The Cat S22 Flip is perfect for my digital detox. Sure it has most of the functionality of a smartphone but the little screen keeps me from doomscrollling. Happy camper here.

Stuck in a loop updating, that never finishes.
I bought this phone as I really wanted on of these. Flip phone, android, touchscreen, rugged! Perfect! ... Or so I thought. Got the phone, turned it on, and it didn't ask to set up. It was already loaded to the home screen... Then a request to update came up, and I tried to update, then it failed... then it wanted to update again... and it failed. And this just kept happening. So I "hid" all notifs about updating. But 3 days later the phone started crashing over and over, saying it needed to update. So... I wiped the phone, and started fresh again. Which it connected to the cell towers, and then promptly started asking for an update again. Tried to update... and it started looping about updates again. Reading the other reviews now (Which... I should have done first to be honest) this phone does the same thing to a LOT of other people too from this seller. Talked to CAT Phones support, and they say this phone doesn't come unlocked at all. As they strictly only sell from TMobile. And that I should definitely return this phone to the seller. Contacted Amazon. And they more or less straight away accepted the return. Shipped it via UPS, and just about 12 hours later, received an email stating that I was refunded. BIG bummer... I wanted this phone. Silly thing is, the phone from Tmobile is only 80 dollars... So I am probably going to take that refund and put it towards getting the phone from Tmobile. I was able to use the phone long enough to know for sure, that I do in fact like this thing. It was exactly what I wanted. Just a shame from this seller it seems to be borked. Also, the phone stated right on the box that I received, that it came with a 64GB SD card. No card was found inside. Other reviewers have stated this too.

Know what you're buying before you buy it
Know what you're buying when you buy this. If you're hoping for a typical smart phone, this isn't it. It also isn't a typical flip phone. This is designed to be a tough flip phone with smart capabilities. I was surprised how big and heavy this is. My last flip phone was a Sony Walkman flip phone, years ago. This is about 2.5 times the size of that phone. This thing feels heavy enough you could use it as a small impact weapon. It definitely feels tough and able to withstand a lot of abuse. I purchased this refurbished for like $55, with the intent to keep it as a backup phone in case of emergency, like when going hiking or doing outdoor activities or traveling places where you might not want to take your expensive smart phone and risk losing it/getting it stolen. It has a removable battery and you can find extra batteries for it on Amazon. This phone has the Android 11 operating system and a touchscreen. It is technically a smart phone and you can install apps and add an SD storage card (I added a 128 GB card). While the screen is larger than those flip phones from the early 2000s, it's still small by comparison to your typical smart phone. Typing isn't as easy on this phone as the screen is smaller and it's up higher than a regular smartphone. It won't be as simple to use as a standard smart phone the way that you're used to using it. This is a rugged phone, there are carrying cases for it. For my purpose, it is perfect. I bought a $5 SIM card for 1000 minutes and texts, no data from a T-Mobile MVNO (Liberty Wireless). WiFi is all I need if I have a need for data, but that's not my primary purpose for this phone. If you have a heavy duty job like construction, and you need a rugged phone that can take abuse, this will be a great phone for you. If you need a cheap backup phone for calls & texts and simple photos as needed, this is your phone. If you're needing a smart phone for streaming videos, heavy text messaging, and social media use, this IS NOT the phone for you.

Está excelente, lo estoy usando con un chip de Pillofon (Diri Redes) en México y funciona a la perfección las llamadas y datos, solo tuve que configurar el APN pero, nada complicado!!! Simplemente 10 de 10👌
