Unit works great. If correctly used it is easy to setup, operate and refill. Produces lots of mist. However, potential misuse of the power supply on a different device is possible and could cause failure! Why: The white power supply that plugs into normal 110 AC home power supplies 24 volts 1.2 amps to the unit via a white cable. The small plug end of that power supply goes into the mist'er. It terminates in a plug that is widely used on to supply 12 volts or 5 volts on other devices. You could incorrectly use the Vicks power supply to try to power a 12 or 5 volt device and break the device and/or the 24 volt Vick power supply.

This is a great humidifier for your bedside use. It is quiet and easy to fill and clean. It has a separate area to add essential oils as well as a Vick's pad which is amazing if you have a head cold or winter allergies. I have been using for 1-2 years now and it has held up due to only using it during Ohio's crazy dry winters.

Great humidifier! Easy to fill, large compartment for water. Easy assembly. Puts out a lot of steam and lasts all night. Has a compartment for Vicks pad. (And comes with a sample) pad only lasts one day. Looks like it will be simple to clean.

I am very pleased with the humidifier and how it functions. It was easy to set up, the instructions are clear and concise. I received correct value for the product price. It functions exactly as indicated and as I needed. It is easy to clean and I will use it for a long time.
